The Easyhit sight serves a specific purpose. It's great for people with eye dominance issues or for those who can keep their head down. You must be looking through the tube in a straight line in order to see the bead. I tried one and shot it for about a dozen straight misses on decoying ducks. I took out my knife and prized it off the barrel, leaving nothing, and killed the next three in a row. It's at the bottom of the lake just in front of the duck blind.

Your best move is to move.

It's only 3,000 lumens? Just tape three of the Jetbeams together and save enough money to buy a couple of Benellis.

Changed my mind. I'm sending it to these guys instead. They have a better price and a shorter turnaround time. Hydro-Dip Tons of patterns, modern shop, and great to speak with via phone and e-mail. I even helped him convert his online order form into a fillable PDF. I will post pics of the finished product when it comes back in. They said it would be about four weeks.

Vinci killing my trigger finger with heavy loads
tucker301 replied to jrichmond182's topic in Benelli
It's a fairly common problem with Benellis, but the Vinci's trigger guard seems to be designed to make it worse. Some people put a round or two of tape on the finger. My SBEII gave me a couple of good whacks when I first got it, but I have adapted a stronger grip on the stock and a firmer shoulder plant to negate the issue. It's all second nature now and I haven't had any more problems with it. -
I liked that!

Texas categorizes rabbits as non-game species without distinction between sub-species. Florida rabbits can be taken year round, but bag limits apply. In VA, rabbits are classified as game species and there is a season on them in Fall-Winter. I believe this is the first time I've heard of anyone referring to running over a rabbit as "popping" one.
-
No. You seem to have that well in hand all by yourself. When you take game out of season, the weapon doesn't really matter.
-
Did you at least tag the turkey?

I'll leave this matter up to the other forum members. Should the kid be turned in for poaching, or should he be given a break? I'm not seeing much remorse. But I can still remember being young and stupid like that.
-
That definitely rules you out.
-
Is that a threat? We can add that to the list if you like.

Deadly serious. LOL

Not a bad joke. Not a joke at all. I'm just gathering as much information as I can before I send the whole thing to the VDGIF. Just trying to save them some legwork in tracking you down. With the Vikings Basketball T-shirt, it shouldn't bee too difficult for them. You see, to my knowledge, there is no Spring season on cottontails in VA, or anywhere else in the Eastern US. That means you are a lowlife poacher. Oh, and don't bother deleting posts and pictures from your Photobucket account, because I've got everything saved already and it's neatly bundled and ready to send to the folks who need to see it.
-
I'm from the part where it's not cool to shoot cottontails in the Spring, when they're out of season and raising young. LOL

Daniel Boone Trail! You can't get much more redneck than that!

Beautiful area. What town are you near?
-
That is WAY out there!
-
Yeah, I know those hills aren't around my part of VA. What County are you in?
