Just the way God intended it to be, jmikesteen.

When I bought my first Benelli (it was the M1014), I took it to a local shoot that we had. I told everyone in advance to bring different brands and types of 12-guage rounds. I took my brand new virgin shotgun right from its box and we fired various slugs and shotshells of various shot size. We had absolutely ZERO malfunctions.

That's what the letter says anyway.

Hey, nothing like a simple mag follower swap to remain perfectly legal. Remember, you guys heard it from me first when I said a year ago that the BATF would crack down on the factory Benelli +2 mag extensions long before they forced Benelli to quit selling them.
-
According to the BATF, the issue has never went away -- people have just been ignoring it. As far as I know, there has never been a conviction of a 922® violation, so nobody sweats it. When Mesa Tactical releases its railed forearm, that will be another US-made part (although a lot more expensive than a follower.) You can find US-made followers here: Sure Cycle

I wish someone like Timney would offer a replacement trigger. That would make short work of my 922® quest.
-
No biggie. I was working on a project and wanted to experiment a little and didn't want to mangle my own magazine cap, but found that I don't need another cap after all. It would still be nice to find a source for spare parts, should I ever need them.
-
What sources do I have for factory Benelli replacement parts? Brownell's would be a logical choice, but their website shows schematics for every Benelli shotgun BUT the M4 Super 90. Am I going to have to order directly from Benelli? I'm looking for a magazine cap.
-
Looks like a great set-up. I may have to check into one of those slings myself. Who needs a shotgun with biceps like that?
-
I haven't kept up on the UFC stuff, but I know enough about Royce to not count him out just yet.
-
I'd looked at the online manual there before, but if I remember correctly, it only showed one tube. Brownells doesn't seem to offer a schematic for factory M4 parts. I've found them there for every other Benelli shotgun though.
-
Thanks, Ishmael, for the large scan. It about choked my dial-up, but is much appreciated.
-
If anyone has access to a scanner and has the Benelli M4 Super 90 spare parts manual, I need a scan of page 12 (showing the two different magazine tubes.) Thanks! [ 05-25-2006, 07:13 PM: Message edited by: M4Madness ]

You do NOT remove the buttplate to remove the stock from the shotgun. Remove the trigger group from the shotgun. Then unscrew the stock and pistol grip in a counter-clockwise motion (when viewed from the rear of the shotgun.) [ 05-21-2006, 05:22 PM: Message edited by: M4Madness ]

Just put it back into factory configuration before sending it in for warranty work.

Yeah, I'd say that most guys on this board are familiar with them, but thanks for posting it anyway for those who may not. Also, don't forget: Nodak Spud [ 05-21-2006, 12:21 PM: Message edited by: M4Madness ]

According to my wife's NRA magazine "Woman's Outlook", there's a $100 rebate on the LMS-1202 that is valid through May 30, 2006, but there is no info about it on LaserMax's website.

Assuming that they have the same thread pattern, where can I find one cheap? I've seen the Nova cap at Brownell's for around $20, but figured I'd see if I could find it cheaper somewhere else first. I've got another idea running through my head, but don't want to ruin my only M4 magazine cap.

Thanks a lot, man. You made me have to go break out the Heat DVD to get this screenshot:

How about a single 6-foot long magazine tube for the M4? That ought to be good for about 24 rounds + 1 floating + 1 in the chamber.
