780 measly posts, mudhen? Heck, I've got well over 10,000 posts on AR15.com. [ 05-16-2006, 04:00 PM: Message edited by: M4Madness ]

Looks like a neat set-up. That Marine sure looks awkward though, with his stock collapsed and his eye right up to the rear sight.

Cal's is sold out now...

Price increased to $125 overnight.

It can only be one of three models: 11701, 11703, or 11707. Look at the label on the end of the box for one of these numbers. As mentioned above, only the 11707 allows the stock to collapse. [ 05-14-2006, 08:15 PM: Message edited by: M4Madness ]

Hey, a familiar face. Yeah, just follow the instructions posted earlier in this thread.

If you haven't already bought the Camo Clad, I'd recommend this instead: Camo Enterprises

Got mine in the mail today. Marked "IC" and "CL". I know that "IC" is improved cylinder, but is "CL" cylinder?
-
Mine only came with the one choke that was installed in the barrel. I'd read here about them supposedly coming with three, so I called Benelli. The lady said that it should have come with three, so she took down my info so they could send me the other two. I guess dealers pilfer the other two. UPS tried to deliver mine yesterday, but for some odd reason Benelli requested an adult signature and no one was home. So now I have to wait until Monday for them to be redelivered.

The M4 telestock will only fit the M4.
-
The current 11707 comes with a two-port barrel just like the M1014. It just has removable chokes instead of the fixed choke.
-
Unless the shotgun you are looking at has a barrel less than 16", it is treated just like any other shotgun and is legal for civilian ownership. Purchasing a Benelli M4 should entail no more paperwork than buying a Remington 870 pump-action shotgun.

I sold a gently-used M1014 a few weeks ago for $1375. I included the original box and all paperwork. I then took the money and bought an 11707. You guys missed a really good deal on Gunbroker about a week ago. Someone was selling an 11707 with the factory Benelli mag extension, telestock, B&T railed forearm, and forward grip for $1650 with no reserve, and no one bought it!!!

Who knows what their reasoning is? What sucks is that I can have a short-barreled shotgun with a pistol grip, but no buttstock -- and the AOW would be a lot more concealable! I'd say that Indiana's short-barrel shotgun law probably dates back to the gangster era and John Dillinger. I'm currently working with a couple of state senators to try to get them legalized here. Yeah, I know how the whole NFA scene can be very expensive, as I have an M16 and four top-performing suppressors in various calibers.
-
I had two and sold one of them on eBay a few weeks ago for $262. It would have been nice to get $510 out of it. I'm still keeping my other one for the time being. [ 04-29-2006, 10:47 PM: Message edited by: M4Madness ]
