  1. I would have taken yours in a heartbeat, but I found one yesterday at the Knob Creek machinegun shoot. Thanks.
  2. I didn't see any on GUNBROKER for the M4. Factory Benelli M4 +2 Mag Extension
  3. Try CENTER MASS FIREARMS in Henderson, NV. Or www.clydearmory.com. I didn't see any Benelli items on either website. Are you sure that they sell them?
  4. There are a couple on eBay as well.
  5. Who's got 'em in stock? Cal's Sporting Armory and Impact Guns are both sold out.
  6. How much are you selling your M1014 for? I probably won't go any lower than $1350 at this time, especially considering that everyone is sold out of the M4's. It has only been to the range one day, and probably has no more than 100 rounds through it (it's always been a safe queen.) If someone doesn't care about the ability to use a real working telestock, the limited edition M1014's like mine are the way to go. If I could find someone selling the pistol grip stocks, I'd probably put one of those on it first before selling it. [ 04-07-2006, 03:05 PM: Message edited by: M4Madness ]
  7. Yeah, I knew that my tube wasn't the same, but for some reason I thought that the tube and stock were one. I didn't realize that the tube stays attached to the receiver and that it just fits inside when using the pistol grip stock. Yeah, he and I have discussed it a few times. I believe that we both got M1014 shotguns about the same time when they were first released years ago. I've just been too afraid to do it, as the BATF is still saying it is illegal. 8. Okay, I might have figured this out on my own. I have an M1014, so I've never studied a pistol grip stock model before. I've come to the conclusion that the tube that the telestock slides on is used on all models and just fits inside the pistol grip stock models. Is this correct? I'm currently trying to sell my M1014, but if I keep it, I'll try to buy a pistol grip stock to replace the fake telestock. Is my fake telestock the same as the ones for sale -- meaning if I were to sell it, could it be of use to someone with an 11707? EDIT: Oops, typing at the same time. 9. All legalities aside regarding the installation of a working telestock on the M4-series shotguns, how have you guys been doing it? I understand that the model 11707 is the only one that will accept the working telestock. The thing is, when I see the stocks for sale, no recoil tube is included. What are you guys doing for tubes? Also, are the telestocks (minus tube) that I'm seeing for sale identical to the M1014 fake telestocks?
  10. The mag extensions and telescoping stocks are the same in the eyes of the BATF. They pretty much look at it like the former AW ban -- you can have ONE of the following on an imported semi-auto shotgun: pistol grip, mag extension, or folding/telescoping stock. The problem with the telescoping stocks is that they are a combination of a pistol grip and the stock itself -- this puts you one over the count. I have a letter from the BATF saying that adding either a mag extension or a telescoping stock to the Benelli M4 violates 922® and is therefore illegal. It's all a moot point to me, as I've put my Benelli M1014 up for sale. [ 04-05-2006, 03:04 PM: Message edited by: M4Madness ]
  11. The Benelli Nova is a pump-action, therefore it can legally have a telescoping stock.
  12. M1014, yeah, I have been paranoid about this for years, haven't I? I'm pretty sure that 922® violations are never prosecuted by the BATF, but what can I do? I have a letter from the BATF addressed to me that states that adding a mag extension or working telestock to a Benelli M4 shotgun is illegal due to 922®. The only other loophole besides being 922® compliant is to register the shotgun as a short-barrel shotgun, as SBS's are exempt from 922®. The only problem is that my state allows all NFA items except SBS's. I'm currently working with lawmakers here in Indiana to get them to be allowed. Have fun with yours though, man. 13. I'm attempting to locate enough US-made parts for the Benelli M1014 shotgun to make it 922® compliant. So far, I've already found domestic railed handguards and mag extensions. I've heard of US-made gas pistons and mag followers, but have been unable to locate them for sale. Anyone know who sells the pistons or followers, or any other US-made replacement parts? Thanks.
  14. I haven't kept up on this issue lately, but has the BATF reversed its decision that a mag extension is illegal on the Benelli M1014/M4 Super 90 shotguns?
  15. This has never been proven.
  16. What we need is a U.S. company to make a few compliance parts, so that the shotgun would be considered domestic instead of imported.
  17. Benelli still hasn't issued a statement regarding the legalty of modifying the M1014 shotguns to full feature.
  18. Probably a correct assumption. Benelli used the ARGO system on the M1014 in order to allow accessories (weight) to be added to the shotgun and still have reliable function.
  19. Here's my take on it: When Form 6's are approved to import NON-LE full-feature M4 Super 90 shotguns into the country, I will take that as a sign that they are legal for civilians to possess. Remember, there is no "list" of banned imports, only rejected Form 6's.
  20. Directly from the BATF website: Nonsporting firearms are still prohibited from importation under 18 U.S.C. sections 922(l) and 925(d)(3). http://www.atf.treas.gov/firearms/091304openletter.htm [ 12-25-2004, 08:51 AM: Message edited by: M4Madness ]
  21. Also Impact is selling them too: Impact Guns - M1014 LE for sale Would two FFL's be publically selling them if there was a good possiblity that the ATF would come and get them? I don't think so... Look at it this way, LE firearms were illegal for civilians to possess before the '94 AW ban expired, but are now legal. The '94 ban only affected domestic firearms. Imported LE firearms are still illegal for civilians to own due to 922®. Obviously, these two places selling LE M1014 shotguns ARE in violation of the law if these do in fact have working telestocks on them. Why else would the BATF mail me a letter saying that adding a working telestock or mag extension was illegal? I have this in writing directly from the BATF. Until Benelli works this all out with the BATF and issues a public statement, I will not modify my M1014 in any manner.
  22. You can still get one, you just may not ever be able to legally modify it. Mine's still fun to shoot with the fake telestock. Hopefully Benelli will be able to work out an exemption with the BATF. Benelli received the faxed letter on the second try, so I'm sure that they are working on a solution.

    M1014 STOCK

I just don't have it in me. Maybe I'm afraid of losing my full-auto M16 and suppressed weapons, not to mention my freedom. A telescoping stock on my shotgun is not worth the potential loss of everything. But hey, I don't look down on you or others for doing it--to each his own. It's just not something I wish to do.

    M1014 STOCK

I'm still waiting on Benelli to make a public announcement before I modify mine. I faxed them the BATF letter that said you could NOT do the mods, but haven't heard anything back from Benelli yet. Some people have the balls to do it anyway, but I'm not much of a risk-taker.
  25. There are none.
