  1. couple questions, what type of sights do you have on it now? The two options were goast ring and rifle, and they install in the same place on the barrel and receiver. Or were you refering to the night sights that are offered? Those are made by Meprolite and you can order them dirrect. A standard pistol grip stock should not be hard to find, but I would check the various forums to see if some one is selling a used one, as a OEM new will cost you about as much as the scatter gun. Or you could try Mesa Tactical, they sell a very nice aftermartket with a much shorter length of pull, it depends what your aplication is. Regards, -d
  2. Not major important, I took mine off because I was tired of geting the pliers to pull it out, and fighting with the cat over it if it flew off to a corner. Just wear safty eyes when you unscrew the mag cap if you are not going to use it. Regards, -d
  3. Thank you for clearing my name slvraro, you are a fine man. regards, -d.
  4. Just a communication problem, all is good. Some times I think all this was easer with the good old mail system and long distance calls were too expensive, so you just had to sit on the curb and wait for the postman, instead of expecting instant light speed answers and responces from the magic internet. Regards, -d
  5. Excellent info ROCKETW19, perhapse you have a military intel. back ground? You certanly have the trick of filtering the inportant information from all the unaplicable data on the web. Well done Sir! Regards, -d
  6. Not a bad idea Bello you might make a little folding money. But always remember America was founded on good ideas, hard work and determination (also smuggling, patent infringment and general carte blance narrow agenda lawlesness.) heckler&kochp2000 put in the first three items I listed and is reaping the benifit so more power to him. But a bit of good ol' US capitalistic compatition would not be bad, might bring the prices down Send me a pm if you manage to bring some in. And as for you heckler&kochp2000 I am waiting for your Lee Iacocca type biography. Regards, -d
  7. Yup these guys have the knowledge. I have about 2500K through my short barrel (10") and now it will cycle anything, even with 8.5" of pressure building barrel cut off (all legal and above board with a Form 4 and the blessing of my GOD, my Country, my Mom and the BATFE). But... ... . if you know my mom and she asks, kinda, like, change the subject or something, she wants me to find a wife and a bigger house and well, those things cost money you know? Regards, -d
  8. Do not cancel 40HK4Life, give silvaro a chance, he seems like a good man, just bad comunication happens some times, send him a PM to verify, but I would not worry. Regards, -d.
  9. It is all cool 40HK4Life, silvaro is good man, he just posted that he could not get in touch with me on a Saturday when I was out shooting, and I could not respond in time. He recevied payment on Monday, it took longer than he expected. I am sure he will follow through, he made good faith commitments with both of us but got worried when he did not hear from me. I would not worry, but let me know how the forend fits and feels 40HK4Life. regards, -d
  10. I know ROCKETW19, I took it into consideration (three posts when I sent the money order). I do have conformation slvaro received my money order, although it did take week to get there. slvaro, you got to make a choice buddy, either return my money order and wait on 40HK4Life's or ship out the forend, no hard feelings these things happen. At least modify your second post to say I did not dissapear and you received my money order later than expected, I do have some street cred here to protect. Thank you, -d
  11. slvraro, have you received my USPS money order? Thank you, David.
  12. I sent a USPS money order last week, it should arrive today. Please PM me. Thank you, D.

I have had this happen to me once, the link (#43) got stuck in the back of the receiver above or below the recoil spring plunger. Try removing the barrel and trigger group (or everything you can) and using a bore scope or simmilar look in and back at the link and try to gently pry it down or up so it rests on the recoil plunger. you can PM me if you like and I can talk you through it on the phone. Regards, d

StrangerDanger, I know we have both been on this forum for many years and if I have neglected to say it in the past, you are and asset to this site and I always enjoy reading your posts. Regards, -d StrangerDanger quote was modified for humor effect.
  16. Good Morning Rick, I have a 10" M4 SBS and I would be interested to know if you find some one who will thread it. Regards, D
  17. excellent advice, check out gonbroker or another online auction site to get an idea for price. regards, -d
  18. Good call, that is what I did, I also left out the spring retaining clip, it makes it difficult and a little dangerous when you remove the magazine end cap but also gives you a little extra room without compromising the force of the feeding as much. Regards, -d
  19. That is what they pay him for (I hope someone is paying StrangerDanger) a good site to reference is benelli.it the Italian website. There is an American flag in the top left corner that will translate it to English (do not use a browser translater it just gums stuff up) it has all the manuals, diagrams and hot nakid Italian chicks modeling the guns. regards, -d
  20. I will look into it but should it not be a trigger pin bushing? That only slides out 98% of the way?
  21. Nice lines with the feild stock, very "riot gun" Good show. d
  22. I do not know of any state that alows anything other than a handgun (BATFE Def: "… a weapon originally designed, made, and intended to fire a projectile (bullet) from one or more barrels when held in one hand, and having (a) a chamber(s) as an integral part(s) of, or permanently aligned with, the bore(s); and (b) a short stock designed to be gripped by one hand and at an angle to and extending below the line of the bore(s).") for conceled carry. A SBS and AOW are by definition not handguns. You could try to pick up a Le Mat but they are pricy and not recomended for modern ammo. Regards, d PS. I would deleate your post "I am not a fan of hand guns, too much aiming" in case of legal action related to a self defence investigation. I carry my 10.5" M4 in a thigh scabbord (think Road Warrior) when camping in the brush but open carry is legal here.
