  1. there are some on here that dont even own a Benilli, like me. but i do have a Franchi AL-48. and i do get a laugh out of all the "expert opinions". some get on here to just talk to other gun lovers, like me. never seen a gun i didnt like, i just like some more than others.
  2. Academy has the best prices ive found so far on nice fire proof, name brand safes. www.academy.com
  3. too many possabiltys to list. find what you like for the price your looking for and buy it. i recommend getting at least one thats 1 hour safe at 1200 degrees.and a number key pad entry.
  4. i agree fully. my thoughts on this are;you normally tend to burn more ammo with an atuo, vs the pump. you wont take a third shot at a bird with a pump, and will with the auto. the flip side is that a new pump is very stiff and usually dosent work well or should i say "smooth" till it is fairly well broke in. you can get back on target faster with the auto vs the pump, and the recoil on most autos are a little milder than that of a pump. and last but not least, im lazy, i dont want to work that hard. as far as performance,i cant see what it matters what it is as long as it works ok for you. an old man i hunt with thats near 70, uses an old stevens single shot 12ga, he gets as many birds as we do and uses far less ammo. so use what you like, i do.
  5. been trying to recoperate. moving kicks my a.., i have a pickup load of stuff. my wife hase a 53' truck trailer full o crap. ................... and its all HEAVY.
  6. what choke and at what distance?
  7. :eek:ive never seen a gun i would pay 2 grand for. my 50 cal was $1600.00 2nd hand. and after i got it , iwished i hadnt. sold 4 months later.
  8. i wiegh 220, and i dont care to shoot magnum 12 ga anything unless im hunting. when your hunting you really dont notice the kick of anything. its at the range that you begin to notice these suckers are knocking the crap outa you.
  9. here is my dream shot gun.....long recoil action like the al-48 franchi and browning A-5,engraved like my al-48,8round mag like the benilli tacticals, [thats with an a not an e] matte finish that does not rust, low recoil like a winchester chunk of rail road iron, and the price of my charles daly.
  10. he s not nearlly as think as you drunk he is.
  11. i dont have a benilli, but my Charles Daly tubes tend to loosen up after a box or 2 on the 5 stand range.my Franchi AL-48 is a fixxed choke.
  12. i moved to the country north of Ft. Worth about a month ago. we have a little pond in the back yard. i looked out yeserday and counted 20 mallards on it. 7 were drakes. duck hunting is going to be easy this year.
  13. save your steel emptys, reload with lead..............dont get caught.
  14. IF you ever order a gun off this, be very carefull to read up on the feedback of the people you are buying from. a friend of mine ordered from a guy, waited the aloted time for the m/o to clear, waited and waited.finally called the guy. he told him that he didnt have gun in stoke that he ordered. but he cashed his m/o anyway. he is still trying to get his money back, its been 6 months. i ordered an EAA 10mm off there , it arrived at my gun dealer in 13 days. AWSOME PISTOL, AND UNREAL POWER.
  15. the reason for the delay , is that people are buying the living **** out of firearms. most of my gun stores around here have very little left. ammo and reloading supplies as well.
  16. to me its the finest qaulity for the least dollar. because you dont always get what you pay for.
  17. its somthing way over priced, that rusts when you think rain, and only clicks when you pull the trigger.
