id be willing to bet as you get it more loosened up this will fix itself. when i first got my C/D it was kickin the crap outa me, its a lot sweeter gun now a year later.

i was at my house with a friend as the only nearby game warden. i hunt doves 80-100 miles away. and got caught over limit once.$800.00 fine.

there are many. but by the timeyou pay s/h it cost about as much as any where else. i buy my ammo at academy.

there really is no "best", its what ever suits you. i prefer a 26" or 28" for quail, duck, dove. 30" or 32" for geese or turkey. thiers not going to be enough difference in a 28" and 30" in performance or sight plane to notice.

i love the a-5 brownings, but man are they heavy.

i got the Franchi off the used rack at cabelas for$250.00, it was beat up pretty bad. i reblued the barrel, and refinished the furniture in red mahogany.

i have 3. an old 870,still works well, a Charles Daly 12, that i love and my pride and joy an AL-48 Franchi, in 20ga , iwould love to find a 12 at a good price.

i prefer after seasons been open a few weeks. we dont have many quail in n.central texas too many fireants.pheasents are nearly non existant.but i do love dove season. the problem is i limit out too fast on opening day. i can get 14 birds in an hour on a good day.i like when them micro F-16,s get about 100ft in the air movin about 70mph.

wow........ thats awesome. whats the limit in kansas? i drove 380 miles 2 years ago to go pheasent hunting in the panhandle of texas, only to find out the limit was ........2.

my Dodge has 302,000 miles. and truth to tell the only reason i bought it , is the seat sets a little higher off the floorboard than ford or chevy. now im glad i did.

i love 5 stand.the way i see it, if your practicing for field hunting, hold like you naturaly would in the field. this way you will learn more about getting on the target. if you piss them off , it will likely mean that you are beating them.

im aware that some states only allow shotguns for hunting. i would hate that. were spoiled in texas, we feel like we done something special if we shoot a deer at under a 100yds.and the norm is 350-600 yds where i hunt.even 800 yds is not unheard of.

i like a 24" for quail, but i like a 28 or 30" for dove, turkey, and ducks.

sounds like the firing pin may be flattened.this happens with a lot of automatics, when fired in imitation full auto mode.

im going hunting the first of feb, with a 20ga w/ ic chock, using Remington Express long range, #6 shot. ill post picks.it doesnt take 3"mags with #2 buck to bring down a 2 pound bird.
