  1. Oh boy, here we go again....
  2. Greetings all, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a good website where I can review the rules/regs for ccw's in Wisconsin. But I'm also curious about what the laws are where all of you are, too. All I know about Wisconsin is that it is "normally" not a ccw state, I have heard of exceptions, but they say your odds of getting a permit are worse than winning the powerball lottery. Thoughts? Gee, let me think....YES
  5. That same issue has had a flame under it for a long time. Back when I was in, women were trying to become crewmembers on Submarines. I am all for women being able to do the jobs, but having men and women together in certain "duties" just won't work, especially with the sexual harassment issues we've had in the last decade or so. I served in the Navy for 4 years, under Bush Sr./Clinton. During that time (at least in the Navy) there were several drastic changes made to policies, concerning the very definition of harassment. I don't want to start a wildfire here, but I have to agree that they (men/women) should not always operate as a collective unit.
  6. Nice. I have a 300 win mag, but I don't think I could shoot it with a collapsable stock installed.
  7. Nice, what cal. is that?
  8. Someday, one of those will follow me home as well. Nice piece, man.

    Accessories

I'm sure that by the end of the day, someone here will be able to point you the right way for your accessories. Some of these guys here run their own gun stores.
  10. I tried to add this to my last post.....hopefully it works this time.
  11. A 71 Firebird Formula...455 H.O.....punched out .060
  12. My choices are pretty slim for transportation. My truck gets about 14-15/gallon, and my car gets around 4-5/gallon......I took it to work on Easter (work is about 2 miles from my house) and I used a quarter tank of gasgetting there and back. So I think my truck is gonna have to do for now. Fewer trips to Green Bay to go shopping at Gander Mountain and Sportmans Warehouse. Fewer miles on the 4-wheeler. Too bad we can't collectively say "No, we aren't going to pay that much" and make them lower it.
  13. $2.93 in Northeast Wisconsin today.
  14. A stand-up comedy episode from Chris Rock comes to mind......I can't post what was said in this forum, but for those of you who have ever heard any of his material.....well......use your imagination.
  15. My girlfriend shot my SBE II a few weeks ago.....and immediately vowed never to do so again. But she did put 6 shells through it, so I can't complain too much.
  16. Mudhen, you rock, LOL!!!
  17. What's the retail price on something like that? Did it come with a decent sheath?
  18. The National Weather Service used to keep archives of rainfall accumulation on their website, but the layout has changed since I last used it. I will post the link for you to their site. On the left side, look for "climate", and click on "past weather".....I tried switching the view from temp to percipitation, and it did give me some data, so putting in your zip code may give you some useful data. National Weather Service Hope this helps you Marine. [ 04-01-2006, 08:05 AM: Message edited by: Likwid ]

    re-dipping camo?

This isn't exactly what you wanted to know, but it may point you in the right direction. Camo Dipping
  21. I shoot either 3" or 3 1/2" for everything I do. A few days ago, a buddy of mine tried it with some lame low-brass walmart crap for shooting clays.....and it showed. I'd say that out of 20 shots, it jammed 3 or 4 times. It isn't the same gun with that wuss ammo.....feed it the good stuff.
