My OEM spring worked just fine with my 5 round tube, my +2 extension and my 7 round full length tube. Others have had various problems ... but now there is a simple solution, Kip sells a full length mag spring made to the proper specs ... I picked one up a bit ago from him just for the heck of it, as I figured it would eliminate a potential source of failure. My review is here: http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17680

You need to post 5 times to be able to post pictures bro

They can "accept" a collapsible stock with the original recoil tube, the stock just cannot collapse. The rectify this, you can either have your recoil tube milled (a bunch of people have done this) or buy and swap in a premilled 11707 recoil tube.

The OEM ones look fine, but the issue is why would you buy one on gunbroker for $400+ when you could get a stronger, lighter, full length titanium tube for half that? Nodakspud used to make a nice one as well with OEM finish, but I beleive they have gone out of business ... a few other people make them as well, but I have not seem them first hand, so I won't comment. For what it's worth, at one time I had 5 or 6 OEM +2 extensions and I sold them all off at $500 or so a piece ... this was before just about anyone was offering full length tubes, so it was +2 extension or nothing. Now that full length tubes are readily available, I can think of very few situations where a +2 would be preferable.

Yea, I see them go from time to time for $1350 here, often hardly used at all. You are right, keep an eye out and you can probably find one within a few months.
-
I don't think I would eat one groundhog, let alone 250. I ate a rabbit the other day though.

Not without custom work, and with custom work anything is possible

You can find NIB m4's on gunbroker now for $1450 all day long, the supply of them seems to have really caught up. For the tube, you're have to talk to Kip or go to http://www.shop.carriercomp.com/category.sc?categoryId=4

Nice shooting, what animal is that you shot? A woodchuck?
-
So this means no more mustache rides?

Agreed, buy once cry once! You will never regret buying quality! UTG is mediocre at best. I'm glad to see you're getting back into ARs though. Black Rifle Disease is very contagious!

Oh really? Where the heck did you read that?

I have had a full length mag tube for the majority of my 12k rounds, and I never loctited the new tube into the receiver. Occasionally, it will come loose when I am breaking down the gun ... NEVER when I am shooting, as the mag tube cap prevents any and all movement. It is a non issue, and a totally optional step to loctite your new tube into the gun.
-
Silence fool! You need to heat that **** until it is ******* MOLTEN RED HOT and the finish is falling off the gun! As you can see from this page ... http://www.loctite.sg/sea/content_data/93808_290EN.pdf Green loctite (290) can ONLY be broken by using a Jet turbine powered strap wrench after placing the entire weapon inside an industrial forge for approximately 4 hours. I know this because Cody6.0 told me, right after he beat me in a race with his budget corvette.

Yet another reason the GG&G handle sucks, and I use the same lube that you have sitting unused next to you.
-
It might work ... depends on the barrel profile (the magtubes should be the same), and the difference in the distance between the barrel and the magtube on the two guns ... worst case scenario, some screws won't be perfectly snug I would guess, unless the barrel profiles are WAYYY different. That said, a weapon mounted that far forward will affect the balance of the gun, and unless you use a remote tapeswitch, you are basically limiting yourself to on/off, which is bad ... but that is a different discussion entirely.
-
I have also long stated that the M4 trigger sucks and is the weakest link, I suppose this is just another reason why, although to my knowledge I have not encountered this specific problem. I also use the titanium charging handle, and my bolt carrier stays dripping wet with the best lube on the market, so I am doing my part to avoid the "issue".

Because he just can't help but to try and mess with everything he possibly can in the relentless pursuit of perfection, even if it's one step forward two steps back, as would be the case in this situation (in my opinion). Go change your Depends old man, take the vinyl off your couches and dirty up your $3000 benelli showgun paperweights.

I already told you what to do to get the maximum amount of money. If you want to ignore my advice and feel I am somehow attacking you and your gun, you are well within your rights to pull the victim card. I am personally of the opinion that a used, old model M4 is worth less than the price of a new, current model m4, because really anything else is insanity, UNLESS you are looking for something that is no longer made for some reason, rational or not. There is absolutely no RATIONAL reason to pay $3000 for a used limited edition M1014. That said, there are a lot of irrational gun buyers, especially now. You need to find one of them, and sell your product to them. In your words, you need to convince somebody that your aging gun is a fine bottle of wine, and not a depreciating, old model mechanical device that would be losing value in ANY other circumstance. (For instance, would you like to buy my limited edition 1984 honda civic? It has amazingly low miles for the year, and it's in great shape. I will be letting it go for $30,000, due to it's rare nature and overall desirability.) Make sense?
-
Depends. Show us the mount.
-
According to some, over $3000 because of the ULTRA RARE nature of a gun. I personally would not pay over $1200 for an old, outdated model M4. If you want to try and scalp, list it on GB hyping up it's rare status and "limited edition". If nobody bites, try and and sell it for what it is, a used, old model benelli. Best of luck with your deception.
