I took a look at Botachs offerings from KZ... This one (below) http://www.botachtactical.com/kzbechha.html will rotate all day and then some. ---------------------------------------------------------------Look ma, no cuts! ^^^^ This one (below) http://www.botachtactical.com/kzbeerchha.html will not rotate. Flat face ^^^^ so you can tell it's a tri cut design. You can tell by looking for the flat, 3 sided cuts in the leading face of the bolt handle. If it has the cuts, that's where the ball detent rests and prevents the handle from spinning easily. If it does not have the cuts, there is nothing for the ball detent to grab, so it spins freely as all surfaces are even.

Uhh ... and the problem is what exactly? That's what the shell stop is there for ... to keep the shells in the tube. Pressing it in once gets you one shell ejected. Have you fired the weapon yet? Do they come out on their own when cycling? Sounds to me like you are good to go and need to spend some more time reading the manual ... unless I am missing something?

LaRue mounts are generally bought for lights because they are quick detach and they are stronger and more convenient than dual thumbscrews which can break free and have to be torqued down to hold under stress. I highly doubt the stock mount had problems mounting, it is just not as good of a design, and thus had to go. That's my semi-educated guess.

The real question is, how are the 2 LaRue mounts holding up on the offspec rail?

Do you have a letter from the ATF stating that they now claim the m1014 is made of 15 imported parts? Because as of late 2006 their stance was that is was made up of 11 imported parts, as you see below. If this letter is still relevant (and I have no reason to beleive it is not), then you only need to replace ONE part to be 922r compliant. Ironically, it means that your factory +2 extension makes your gun 922r illegal (as it is still 11 parts), but using a US made full length tube would make the gun 922r legal (10 parts). Fun stuff huh?

It will not be an issue. Load up your mag tube fully with shells.

Won't happen. It is a non issue with quality spring wire, such as the wire used in this spring and most others.

I have never personally done it, but from the instuctions and all accounts I have heard, it is not that difficult. If you are uncomfortable with it, get a gunsmith to do it.
