  1. I hate to say it, but if I had to venture a guess, I'd say Kip bit off more than he could chew with the amount of projects he committed himself to, with only his small staff and limited time. He took on a massive workload for having such a small staff and production capability. People on this forum are trying to hold him accountable to an ideal that is nearly impossible ... It's a small machine shop, putting out 6 or so different improved products, which are expected to be tested and absolutely perfect, made out of the best materials available, ready to sell in large quantity, in an unreasonably small production timetable, for cheap, with constant customer support and updates on exactly what he is doing. Riiiiight. Christ, he's one machinist with a few guys under him ... he's not a 10,000 employee mass production firearm assembly line, like many of the other companies that put out parts. The advantage of a smalll operation is that you get exactly what you want, done right in small batches by a skilled craftsman ... the disadvantage is production time for products to be available in quantity. Please stop complaining about his absence ... He's either working hard to get stuff out to us, and as such should be let to work in peace, or he abandoned his project when he decided he had put up with enough crap from ungrateful forum folk who wanted everything for nothing. Even if he has left, he's still contributed more to this community than just about anyone else, both in knowledge and in superior products that he has made available.
  2. What is to weld? It's a piece of tubular metal that is threaded and finished. No welding in any part of the operation.
  3. As a guy with an economics degree, this post made my head spin.
  4. Right. Because who needs reliability, durability, quality, a lifetime warranty, or realistic lumen numbers. Max lumen ratings are perhaps the most inflated, unrealistic marketing metric in any industry I've ever encountered ... especially on ebay. It's like the vortex air filters that claim 20% hp gain from increasing the velocity of air going into the engine ... it just ain't so.
  5. Those are hilarious. As I hold a real aimpoint t-1 in my hand and look at the fake pictures, there are about a dozen obvious differences.
  6. Not yet, hopefully very soon.
  7. Tucker proudly voted for Obama. Keep that in mind when you discuss issues with him.
  8. That would actually be Alaska. After that, Texas is in line with Arizona, Florida, and most of the other big ones. http://www.mp5.net/info/sbsconr.htm Lots of states are full NFA and castle doctrine, but you have to take other things into consideration. For instance, Vermont has NO laws concerning carrying pistols ... it's a free for all. They are the only state like this, surprisingly. But Alaska is considered by most who study this topic to be the most gun friendly state ... in that most EVERYONE is armed. ETA - and I also plan on getting a M720L
  9. I'm glad that my TA11 green donut ACOG doesn't have any christian inscriptions on the side. ETA - scratch that, apparently it does ... it says 5:16. No idea what that is. Probably some rubbish about doing the lords work and being righteous and stuff ... I'll pass.
  10. That girl is 16 years old and is commonly posted on /b/. It is not M10104.

    M4 problems?

A 2 port m4 with adequate lubrication should be flawless in function and more durable than you are.
  12. Major thread fail. You cannot possibly harm the m4 by racking the bolt carrier or dry firing. The m4 is as robust a platform as it gets. Please do not treat it like a $10,000 rimfire target rifle. Abuse it ... it wants you to.
  13. I got a FDE one in the mail today ... I've spent hours changing up the config on my MRP ... not sure if I like it, especially when trying to make it work with my light mount ... needs range time to really tell.
  14. Same. However I still support the development of aftermarket Benelli parts ... and you're making some pretty cool stuff thus far Panabax.
  15. Cool stuff, this reminds me how bad I've been slacking on my benelli mods.
  16. I use my glock as a blunt clubbing instrument, not a stabbing instrument ... come on now.
  17. I've spent roughly 1/3 of my $30k/year college income this year on "preps" ... the rest goes to driving fast, eating and drinking well, and chasing women. Only about $100 or so spent on Benelli parts this year ... and I haven't even finished my handguard light project.
