  1. Damn, you either have a lot of money to throw around or you don't order from Brownells very much. If I threw an extra $100 in every time I ordered something ... I would very quickly run out of money.
  2. I do not get this statement at all. A "full" rail would not in any way, shape or form diminish the ghost ring sight picture. The ghost rings are so far above the rail stubs that it is lunacy to suggest that you "need" the rail stubs cut down the middle in order to achieve a proper sight picture. It's like a guy that works on the 37th floor saying that the 2 story building next to him needs to be leveled because it blocks his view of the sunset ... it just doesn't add up. What cutting down the rail to "benelli spec" DOES do is seriously compromise the strength of the mounting platform, whether Ms. Costa wants to admit it or not. I have already shown what happens when some optics are mounted to this type of rail, and lots of other people have confirmed it. ETA - I just did a simple test ... I put some duct tape, laid flat, on my m4 rail to simulate a "full" rail without stubs. By doing this, I made it so that I effectively lost the "cuts" in the rail that were intended to increase the sight picture ... I then compared the sight picture with this "ductmod" to the sight picture of the stock rail with no tape ... guess what? They are almost exactly the same ... If you try, you can just barely make out the duct tape covering the tiniest portion of the BASE of the front sight ... not the actual sight, or the protective wings, but the BASE of the sight where it is welded onto the barrel. The actual front sight is still perfectly visible. In my reasonably humble opinion, "not wanting to occlude the ghost rings" is a very poor excuse as to why one would possibly want a rail made to the "cut down" specs. ETA2 - Perhaps I will take pictures of the 2 sight pictures in the morning.

  4. Glad to hear it, enjoy.
  5. I see. Thanks for the clarification.
  6. Oh noes, a picture of a rubber phallus on a stool! HIDE THE CHILDREN! AND THE WIFE!
  7. No, it would make him a friend. ETA - Perhaps further explanation is needed. There is no law banning you from using, possessing or buying "law enforcement" ammunition ... heck half of it is available in a repackaged civilian version anyways. The issue is that ATK decided to restrict their "LE ammo" to LE only to cut back on demand and also because I beleive ammo for LE avoids the 16% tax or whatever it is, so the cop would be able to get it cheaper than you could as a civilian.
  8. http://le.atk.com is the direct source. They only sell to cops though ... so get a cop friend to order for you
  9. Just take the snap ring off the end of the magazine tube with a pair of snap ring pliers, carefully pull out the limiter, and put the snap ring cap back on. You are now in full shot capacity bliss.
  10. But ... the internet knows everything!
  11. Yep. The price level will rise until the potential for profits attracts new entrants to the market. Simple economics.

Heck, at least he has graduated from hitting on horses. Also, I'd probably get an Extrema 2.
  13. It doesn't loosen up, at least in my experience. And you are correct in your understanding of the ARGO system, it is essentially an inertia gun with 2 gas pistons operating in tandem as "backup" means of propulsion. The middle point IS perfect. It doesn't loosen up. It has slight, slight play the entire time if you forced it from side to side, but that play was not noticeable during normal handling or shooting, just when trying to make it wobble. I put probably 5000 rounds through my m4 with the collapsible stock on it ... never an issue. I would just suggest lubing the ever loving crap out of your recoil tube with some penetrating oil, it will make it much easier to collapse the stock ... it's quite tight and hard to move when you first put it on.
  14. You actually made me laugh, good work.
  15. Summer camps. Sleepover parties. School bus. Movie theaters. And I can recall one time in an elevator at the mall. All before I was 16, things then became much easier when I was rolling in my Volvo pimp mobile station wagon.
  16. The Ferrari of cleaning products ... https://www.kgcoatings.com/index.php?_a=viewCat&catId=25 It's overkill for shotguns though ... any decent solvent/carbon&copper remover will do, and then just use a high quality lube like gun butter or machine gunners lube and you will be good to go.
  17. Ohhhh, pretty colors!
  18. IMO low recoil 00 is for pantywaists ... but yes, it should run fine. Your gun may not like it though, so definitely make sure it will run it before you go depending on it.

You sure? Does NJ have any gun laws NY doesn't have regarding assault weapons? If you are the same as NY, then you are most definitely allowed to have a "protruding pistol grip stock" ... so long as you don't have a collapsible stock, mag capacity over 5 rounds, a flash hider or a bayonet lug.
  20. Freshman English. You'll probably be in it next year, if you pass your current grade. Also, it's a poor carpenter that blames his tools (your keyboard & horrible spelling/grammar). Also, stop being a drama queen and painting yourself as a victim of some horrendous internet crime, it's ******* pathetic. We get it, you like shotguns and have opinions ... guess what? So does everyone else on this forum. You are among people who share a common interest ... now sit down and stop alienating yourself from the community you are trying so hard to impress.
  21. Are you going to make a reference to your age in every post now? And about how everyone doubts you because "they" are just a bunch of haters trying to keep the vinci man down?
  22. It's pretty simple. You don't need to use any type of anti-seize compound, but some people do. Tighten your chokes to as tight as you can reasonably get them with one hand using the choke removal tool ... you don't want it too tight or too loose, it should be pretty easy to tell when it's tight enough that it won't come loose during shooting, yet loose enough that you will be able to remove it when desired without much difficulty. I don't have a torque measurement, sorry. Either choke should shoot slugs just fine.
  23. No, that's a pretty good price on the federal stuff actually.
