  1. Surefire, FAB and SideArmor all do. ETA - For the m4. I have no idea for a 1100 tac-2, whatever that is.
  2. I'm 23, I hope I'm not a senior citizen yet. I doubt I'll make it to be a senior citizen, in all honesty. M1014 knows I am just messing with him, just as I know that he's 100% full of %$#* whenever he tries to talk about anything other than old safe queen benellis. As far as "show guns" go ... I can respect art and design, but I just don't get the concept of safe queens. I hope I never own a gun I am afraid to shoot.
  3. We are talking about "factory" +2 extensions, not aftermarket. The factory extensions sell on ebay for $500+ at times. They are not worth half this. And the full length tube is just a cleaner, stronger, better look. It gives your m4 the natural capacity that it was meant to have, not a "look at me I've been de-nutered" look like an extension tube does. That's not a +2, but it's the same idea.
  4. That's a pretty expensive pair of walking sticks you have there old man. Because that's what they are, as you are never going to shoot them it seems.
  5. Thats a very good price, buy it ASAP before someone else does.
  6. when I said SLIGHT I meant "hardly moves at all, but will a little if you force it". If it's wobbling around, something is wrong. Either your buffer tube is milled to the wrong specs or the stock is not made to the right specs, or something is broken or not installed properly.
  7. Don't be fooled, the "low recoil barrel" is merely the old barrel design. M4s originally came with 4 gas ports, then the newer models switched to 2 ports because of some issues that they were having. I think the people selling the "low recoil" barrels are people stuck with old stock that are trying to liquidate it. So in essence, you would be trading your new updated m4 barrel for an older, outdated barrel. Not really an intelligent thing to do. :\
  8. Hmmm... Let me look That's the stuff alright, but for over a dollar per bullet I think I can pass for now. If I didn't have any, I would buy some for sure ... it's really nice buckshot. http://gunbroker.com/Auction/SearchResults.asp?SearchResults.asp?SearchType=0&Keywords=federal+00

Glock 19 man, 19. So much better.
  10. If not glocktalk, http://www.ar15.com/forums/forum.html?b=5&f=13
  11. What about those that pack hear in the pants, in the case and would also never buy a corvette?
  12. http://www.benelliusa.com/parts_and_accessories/miscellaneous.php Man that was hard.
  13. Its a good one, but I always preferred the "this is my safety" response, while wiggling your trigger finger at them. It works better against glock haters.

Makes me wanna throw it on the ground and get it super dirty and scratched.
  15. But see, I actually shoot my guns, I don't just take grainy pictures of my safe queens to be an attention wh-ore on the board, unlike you.
  16. The GG&G pad is a pretty tough install, if only because you are only born with 2 hands. If you have someone helping you, or proper tools, and have experience, it can be done in 5-10 minutes. It took me over an hour, as the instructions that came with it were beyond awful and I was the first person on this board that I had seen with the mod, so I had no one to talk to. The charging handle is a Design Concepts titanium one, formerly known as Progressive Machine & Tool. You can buy one here: http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/store/productdetail.aspx?p=22928&s= It is 100x better than the GG&G charging handle, as well as every other charging handle I've tried. I highly recommend it.
  17. The GG&G pad works well. It's just a pain to install ... if you can get beyond that, it's great, and a huge improvement to the speed and usability of the gun. You really have to crank/loctite down the pad to the screw though, I had mine break free once when I only half cranked it down ... it will just spin around until you align the pad and tighten the screw more. It's not cheap, but it's a total replacement mechanism, both inside and outside the gun. Lots of competitors products are just pads that stick onto the existing hardware, or some other bootleg method. The GG&G is a legitimate replacement part ... I wish I could say it wasn't the best available, as i don't really like most GG&G things, but unfortunately I think at the current time it is by far the best pad available ...

It's hardly a beginners AR. It's actually one of the best made, a LMT MRP piston setup with full larue and magpul furniture. I guess this is more your style ...

    I like mine better.
  20. Get a 12 gauge boresnake, some type of solvent/oil or CLP, and do the basic stuff. The m4 doesn't need to be babied ... a smoothbore shotgun has no rifling to clean that affects accuracy, so it isn't really important to clean the bore. Just use some solvent from time to time to clean up the fouling, most of the time a few passes with a boresnake and some CLP will be more than enough. Cleaning the BCG is very easy, just wipe off wherever you see carbon/dirt. I may be in the minority here, but I would say that keeping your M4 lubed is more important than keeping it super clean ... the gun will run just fine dirty, but if it is not oiled you will wear down your anodizing and parts much faster. I have switched to using only Machine Gunners Lube, but there are plenty of oils on the market that will work. Oh, and keep the barrel wet with some oil or clp from time to time, it's the only thing on the gun that is prone to rust, and it actually rusts pretty easily if you neglect it.

    I hear an echo
  22. lol, you mean this stuff? http://le.atk.com/general/federalproducts/shotshell/tacticalbuckshot.aspx I don't know why you think it's light recoiling ... the LE127 is the full power, 1325 FPS 9 pellet buck. It also happens to be my favorite round, and in my opinion, probably the best buckshot available. I need to find someone LE to buy it for me, since they no longer sell it to civilians, it's stupid. So yes, it will cycle it just fine ... I've shot 100 rounds or so of it thus far and I can assure it is a full power, 100% cycling round
  23. No doubt, take your time and make them well. Someone has to, and it's not going to be benelli. :\
  24. I don't know what to tell you man ... It's a stock gun, 5 round tube, stock spring, stock follower? Shooting ~100 full power rounds should have taken care of any cycling problems, at least in my experience and by accounts I've heard. 400 should be plenty to break in the gun, if you have in fact shot 400 full power buck through it as you say. What ammo won't it cycle? Brand and specs? Have you taken your shotgun apart and checked to make sure that the gas pistons will indeed move and that there is nothing impeding them from moving? Have you cleaned/lubed your gun fully yet? What happens when it "doesn't cycle"? The round in the chamber goes off, and what happens? It won't eject the round? It ejects it and a new one doesn't leave the tube? The BCG doesn't go back far enough to trip the lifter and lift another round up to be chambered? What happens? I need more details to try and determine what is wrong with your gun. As far as doing stuff to make it cycle better ... it's basically just shooting and lubing. If it won't cycle light loads after doing that, then something is wrong with the gun and it needs to be corrected.
  25. I have, but the lack of readily available replacement parts makes me leery to start messing about with the trigger components without a backup. I've never called Benelli CS ... perhaps I should call and inquire about buying a second trigger group to do work on, I wonder if they would sell me one ...
