I have not, but what I HAVE heard is people having problems with various aftermarket followers, and reverting back to the stock follower. If it ain't broke ... why spend money to try and fix a non existent problem. edit: for the record my "flimsy" plastic follower in my m4 with 11k rounds through it looks like new.

Meh. While I love eotechs, I'm probably never putting one back on my m4. It is too high to use with the full LOP. My next shotgun optic will almost surely be an aimpoint micro t1 in low profile larue mount http://stores.homestead.com/Laruetactical/Detail.bok?no=149 as can be seen here in low mount config. People also use 511 eotechs (smallest), irondots http://stores.homestead.com/Laruetactical/Detail.bok?no=68 etc there are a few options, the problem with eotechs is they are a little high for full length stock usage while maintaining a cheek weld, and if you use the collapsible stock in mid position it is a bit low, which is where it's nice to use an eotech with a 1/4 inch high mount, like I used. http://stores.homestead.com/Laruetactical/Detail.bok?no=13 Lots of options, do your research, I'd suggest shooting your gun quite a bit before you go spending $500 on an optic that may not be right for you.

What is the most powerful shotgun ammunition for a m4
Duggan replied to heckler&kochp2000's topic in Benelli
I just got 300 rounds of it from ammunitiontogo.com but it looks like they are out as they pulled it from their list. http://www.ammunitiontogo.com/catalog1/index.php/cName/12-gauge-all-12-gauge I'd get some boxes of whatever looks interesting. See what works and what doesn't work for you in your gun. Then go buy more of the winners -
Good call, good luck with the m4. Let us know how you like it.

The m4 will run 99% of ammo you put in it. Buy what you want, buy what is convenient, the m4 will probably eat it all and ask for more. For cheap, S&B, wolf, nobel, lots of options, but no real amazing deals jump out in my mind. I buy 50 packs of federal tactical full power 9 pel OO buck with flite control from ammunitiontogo.com personally, the last few times I've bought buckshot.

no order, all stuff I use, available multiple places online. -
Ask unobtanium, he bought quite a few of the "best chokes" and tried them out, some were good and some sucked, I forget details, ask him.

You say the recoil has been reduced when going from 18.5 to 14?
-
If it runs reliably, the FAB grip. Now all you need is a GG&G bolt release, Larue FUG vfg, and an aimpoint t1 in a larue mount, probably medium height ... and a surefire 6p with 256 lumen replacement head mounted offset on the side. Then you'd have the best possible shotgun imo But very nice.

This has been very well documented on other sites. It's quite funny how hard they got called out, I'll link later. But yea, CTD has always been terrible. Screw them.
-
Well, tell us why you want an m3 and what you want to do with it, and perhaps we can tell if it suits your purpose or not.
-
How hard have you run your gun? The one I had was way too soft, it bent if hit with any type of force at all, it was a piece of junk. The metal was just not hard enough. What's worse, it rotates, making it harder to charge the BCG with a less than perfect grip. The PMT one is solid as a rock, made of titanium, diamondblack coated, has a more aggressive grip, and is NON ROTATIONAL. It's hands down a better unit. My $.02 YMMV.

I didn't use any loctite when I put my new tube in. Occasionally, after heavy shooting, when I start to break down my gun the mag tube will be loose and easy to take out. So long as you clamp the mag tube cap down, it doesn't matter IMO. IMO means IMO.
-
You can see that the full tube is installed, and I guarantee he put the snap ring "keeper" on the new tube.
-
Here are the needed steps: 1) - Unscrew barrel retaining cap, pull off barrel. 2) - Plug in heat gun, turn on 3) - See that octagon shaped piece of the reciver that the barrel tube screws into? That's the target 4) - ROAST IT 5) - Unscrew the stock tube with ease. If my memory serves me correctly, the stock tube is held in place with GREEN loctite, which is in between blue and red in the strength department. Burn the heck out of it, you won't mar the gun, and it takes a considerable amount of heat to melt the green loctite. Again, in case I somehow havent been clear, heat up the hexagon receiver base that the tube threads into, not just the tube itself.

While I certainly agree that this election season has marked a scary time for gun rights, I read the provided link for NY and laughed out loud at the absurdity of it. Not just the absurdity of it, but the absurdity of the thought that this legislation could ever POSSIBLY pass in current form. http://assembly.state.ny.us/leg/?bn=A10259 Not only that ... trust me, I live in NY in a "city". I realize that there are "laws", and then there are laws. I realize that cops obey "laws" to the point of covering their own ass. and then obey laws to the extent that they feel obligated to. Even in libtard states like mine, this would have to come after lots of other "NEEDED CRIME LEGISLATION" in order to stand even a chance of passing. Lots of other bills will have a higher chance of passing, lets see... -Importation of foreign mil surplus ammo will be banned under guise of not wanting to fuel the blood arms trade -Sale of demilled ammo will be banned, under 100 different reasons -Huge ammo tax -Microstamping firing pins, to "help solve crimes", because it's not like a file and 10 seconds will render this useless. -Requiring multiple external safeties, trigger locks, safes, etc for storage, ala MA and the glock ban -Banning all ULTRA DANGEROUS COP KILLER AP AMMO, since we all know hollowpoints are best at penetrating 3a vests. -High cap mags for sure are gonna get hit, maybe down to 5 rounds, if not all semis -50s are banned because they shoot down planes on a regular basis Besides ... "all handgun and assault weapon ammunition manufactured or sold in the state to be coded by the manufacturer." As in ... a serial number on the brass? Lol, I can just see it now, "YO SON DONT FORGET THE BRASS CATCHER, WE CANT BE HAVIN THESE PO PO TRACKIN OUR AMMOZ"

I understand the concept, and have used buffer technologies products, I just have never felt the m4 needed one. Either way, I don't think anything is available, to the best of my knowledge.
-
I don't really understand the question/issue. There already is a buffer. That's what the recoil tube, and the buffer spring is for. There is no need for a plastic or whatever buffer like there is in some other guns. That being said, I've never noticed anything unusual about racking my m4.
