  2. Its good to see the old man has not changed~chuckles~ Hey Tuck!!!
  3. I might be interested in a set if the price allows
  4. hopes this helps whoever it was that sent me the pm on how the side saddle mounts to the M4
  5. yes it is the qcb, just click on the benelli m3 the sling for the M4 is the same thing.
  6. http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9250&highlight=specter+sling there is the best sling I know of.
  7. you have to look at it this way, it is a matter of time before you can have problems with the factory spring from use, keeping it loaded etc. no matter what you will need a good back up spring to keep you in business and those sure cycle guys will take care of you. if you have had your shotty for a while remove your factory spring and wipe it down with some oil and just see how much rust comes off of it.
  8. you have to remember the M1014 and M4 was designed to function with all the tacticoolness you can afford to add....even plastic heat sheilds ~waits for the old man to respond.~
  9. the gas gun would shoot with the kitchen sink tied to it...I've never had a problem with my M1014 and like i said before I never wanted a side saddle until I put this on my shotty, now I'd never do without it!
  10. I agree lots of people ride the bolt forward~nodZ~
  11. and finally while I was there I grabbed a pic of my chihuahua doing her mexican staring dog trick that makes you go catatonic
  12. let me go take a picture of mine for you with the Mesa tactical side saddle, you should look into this setup.
  13. I've had no problems, you should have ordered an extra spring from them as well. they offer a s.s. spring
  14. I read his posts on the blog (before it got taken down) that had all of his opinions about what guns a hunter should use, what ranges people should shoot their game at to be ethical hunters....etc, so on and so forth. I mean come on Tuck hunting makes you happy, if you get your limit I'll give you a high five and tell you way to go!...not make a long drawn out line of BS on how you should have filled your tag. this guy ment what he said when he said it, the only reason he tried to retract his statement later is because the pressure from his sponsors. I guess my point being is we all put too much into these type guys like Zumbo doode, you shoot and hunt because we enjoy doing this and we have fun...do what makes you happy and dont listen to all the crap like "you need to buy this to make you a better hunter", or you need to hunt like this to get the big one!! ---I say "be safe and have fun!" Oh and old Zumbo got all freaked out about fellas using AR15s and AKs to coyote hunt with just what do you think he would have said about us in the deer woods sporting out Benelli M1014s and M4s with extended magazine tubes, Eotech sights, heat shields, stand off devices, bayonet lugs, side saddles????....I wonder if he would have thought we was worse than terrorists? I know during the firearms season here I tote my Benelli with pride Forgot to add: The only spokeman of the hunting industry you should listen to is Will Primos because he is awsome, go team primos!!!
  15. Well sice M1014 got you hooked up on the extension if yer quick I'll dig around and see if I can't dig you up a stock, how much you willin to spend eh?
  16. I know ya don't old dad but you just got to trust me on this one I've never used one until now for the most part because I never found one that appeared to be very sturdy, I always ended up using one of the "sock" types that went over the stock. The Mesa side saddle is top notch quality! We're talking about a shotty that is already heavy to start with and with the skeleton stock the "sock" type shell holder is not an option. The Mesa keeps your shells at the right spot to throw in a few rounds without fumbling around or even removing weapon from your shoulder if you was in a situation where it could cost you. when you are just shootin some rounds at the range just leave the side saddle empty and you are just talking about a few more ounces of weight than the factory pic. rail. I'll get some pictures with more angles for you to review, bottom line is just trust me on this and get you one. If you try it I promise you'd never take it back off. besides if you decided you didnt like it you could put it on Ebay and recover your cash like I said if you tried one you wouldnt take it off. Now for the next item....I'm working with a fella to make us some wicked "stand off devices" that would attach similar to the Vang Comp design but hopefully at half or less of the cost. LMK if interested Wing
  17. Don't waste your time or money wait for mesa tactical or just go ahead and buy mesa's side saddle.
  18. nice add on to your shotty old dad!
  19. the factory and Nodak Spud extension do not have to be removed to take off the barrel, and last I heard the spud guy changed his finish to closer match the finish on your Benelli....but I still think for the money you are gonna spend on the extension no matter what you buy it would be best to drop the a little more money and purchase the full length tube from socom guy, he does a really good job.
  20. I would wait and think about it man!!...I had the surecycle ext. and they function fine, the problem is that you have to take the extension off to remove the barrel, if you do not want to pay the money for the benelli factory ext. I would look into the Nodak Spud +2 extensions for the M4 and that is just my 2 cents
