Thanks pal.

Why is a steel tang better than a titanium tang? I just bought an FFT ti handle, but if its no good, I want to get Kips.
-
Nice shotgun! One suggestion, move the T1 to the opposite end of the rail, you will have more field of view.
-
I've read several times on here how difficult it is to install one of these. I'm going to give it a shot, but first, can someone who has successfully installed one without damaging anything on their shotgun please tell me exactly what tools I need to purchase? Thanks!!!!
-
I don't think it would work, but can you pull off the old grip on the standard Benelli stock and install on the Urbino?
-
Good gravy... I love it, you are well prepared. There is not much else you could hang on there, well done!
-
Just the info I am looking for, I'll be getting two of the 1/2 ti FFTs. Thanks for the info!!!

When comparing the 3/4 vs the 1/2 charging handle from FFT, are there any advantages to one over the other? Can both be used with GG&G bolt release pad?

Good post. I just used my Urbino today with an T1 and I am stoked. It's so great to be able to finally get a good LOP and cheek weld on my shotgun!
-
I am not sure if you have handled one yet, but the quality is good. For people like myself who run a T1, this is a viable solution over both standard stock and the c-stock. I can actually use a T1 now without twisting my neck in an uncomfortable position. For the price, it is a good value and seems to be built for long-term use.
-
I gotcha... I dont think its a big deal, but I appreciate your input.
-
Care to explain in detail? If I'm missing something, I'd like to know so I can return the stock.

Abomination? What's so bad about it? It's simple to remove the Limbsaver, takes a second and then you can adjust the cheek riser. I really can't see a reason why it would need to be removed at all, unless the T1 were to fail, but then it is still useable with the cheek riser installed. The cheek riser is very solid.
-
It's removable and has several positions, but you have to take off the Limbsaver in order to adjust it. My guess it is the same type of stock as a non-cheek riser. It does not cut into my skin, it's comfortable.

I just received my Urbino stock and the installation took all of 5 minutes (couldn't find the screwdriver!). I use a T1 with mine, and this is the first day in a long time I have a proper cheek weld. There is a small gap between the back of the trigger guard and the grip. The standard stock does not have any gap. The grip feels smaller in the hand, but I don't see this affecting the feel of the shotgun, just something to get use to. Someone reported earlier that the Limbsaver was loose on their shotgun, on mine, it's very tight and doesn't move at all. Feel free to ask any questions, I'd be more than happy to answer them.

I'm looking to stock up on some target ammo for my M4 for training. What do you all like to run through your Benelli M4 when it comes to the following ammo. I would like to run quality ammo, but cost savings is also important. Birdshot 00 buck Slug Your input is appreciated!

I've searched for 45 minutes and I cant find it. It's a choke that has spikes on the inside to slow the wad so it does not disrupt the pattern of the shot. Does anyone have a link to the website? I cant find it anywhere. Thanks!!

Benelli M4: Bought the GG&G side sling loop...help!!
Diabolus replied to Mr. Shotgun's topic in Benelli
Did you unscrew the stock? I dont see how the butt pad would be involved with the installation. -
Oh snap! Is that titanium as well?
-
I'd like a bigger charging handle and have heard good things about the Freedom Fighter Tactical charging handles. They make a model thats 15.99 grams, the stock one is 11.7 grams. Because it's titanium, it's harder harder than steel, and it weighs more than the stock. Could this give me any problems over the long term from wear? Maybe I am over thinking this. Anyone own one?

Bump to the top

Yah, sorry I must have missed the post. The irons are low on the mount and do not co-witness. It would have to be a very low mount to get those irons to co-witness. Is the standard mount a quick-detach?
