  1. Divide and conquer! that's the strategy that the left is playing , and they are winning. If the responsible folks that still make up the majority of the VOTING public don't unite on their core issues we will lose this country. Core issues... 1 st , 2nd , 4th ammendments.... folks must put aside their small differences and unite behind the central issues. Evangelicals and Catholics on religious liberty, abortion and gay agenda; and yes gun right folks need one strong well financed voice and today that's the NRA, like them or not they are the only voice with power. Like the man said... "A house divided in itself can not stand" Joe B

  3. There is only one organization that has the power to stand between us and THEM and that's the NRA. Four million strong today, we need to double that this year. It's sad to say, but dollars the only thing that sway politicians... we are up against billionairs Bloomberg and Sorous. The NRA is our strongest weapon. UNITE! Joe B
  4. eldon I read you post and I may be able to help. I've been on this forum for over 6 years making and selling full length mag tubes for the M4. I don't make them any more, however I have one tube left on hand that is still "in the white" that I think could be modified to meet your requirements. If you would like to persue this youe idea, contact me at [email protected]. You can search this forum archive to verify my expierence and 100% customer satisfaction for the many FL tubes sold. Joe B
  5. I'm still lurking about the site... thought that I'd provide some info on the weight question. When I was doing the steel tubes I had to answer that question... here is what I came up with. Steel tube 8.5 oz, loaded with 7 rounds 21.0 oz. Ti tube 4.9 oz, loaded with 7 rds 17.4 oz. So with the full load you have 17% less to lug around with the Ti. Oh, and fyi , the factory 5 rd, two piece mag weighs 9.5 oz. Yes it's true , no more SOCOMguy tubes... except that I still have two of these New Jersey special 6 round mags available, for any of you guys that happen to find yourselves in the People's Republic of NJ. Joe
  6. Bello , Yes, I did remember... have already registered there. Will be posting soon. NJGF looks like a good, active forum. Just thought that I would entertain the guys here. Thanks, Joe
  7. Hello all, If you have kept up with the posts you know that I am no longer making the M4 FL 7 rd tubes.. sold the last couple that I had. I have a new innovation that may be of interest to any of you guys that find themselves in the state of New Jersey ( sorry )-: ). It seems that NJ in there wisdom only allows 6 rounds in a semi- auto shotgun. Here is a two piece 6 round tube that is patterned after the factory set-up, the tube part is one round longer and the dummy extension is correspondingly shorter. Quite a bit more machine work involved with this, so the price is $250. Here is a pic of my tube alongside a factory 5 round tube. If you are interested or have questions contact me at [email protected]
  8. H-1987, No I do not make them, I believe that the SBE mag extensions are readily available from several sources. The M4 FL mag tube was a new inovation 5 years ago when I started making them. I'm not into competing with the commercial sources. But thanks for asking, Joe
  9. SC-Tex, sorry the last one is sold. (Unless you were asking about the two New Jersey special 6 round tubes?) Joe
  10. Sorry for slow responses to your inquiries, I've been out of town. Only a couple of FL M4 tubes left. I will respond to inquiries in the order received. I did make two of the New Jersey "special" 6 round - two piece mag tubes for the M4. I'll post a pic when I get a chance. Goofy NJ rules!! only 6 rounds allowed in a semi -auto shot gun mag. Thanks Joe
  11. Lexusf, you don't need anything else. But be aware that there is some different opinion as to wether you need a new longer mag spring. If you search this forum you will find opinions one way or the other. I'm pasting a comment fron an eariler thread with my opinion. In any case springs are readily available and cheap , about $12 if you deside that you need one ... There has been much discussion here about extended vs standard length mag springs. Opinions vary, but many guys relate that the standard springs work just fine in full length or extended mags, just like truckcop says. In fact comments have been made that the standard spring is better, makes for easier loading of that last round. I have been selling FL mags for the M4 for five years and do not supply new springs...just ask the customer to try the old spring first to see how it works... never had a complaint. Joe B
  12. Magnumwill, e-mail me at [email protected] I still have a couple of tubes left Joe B
  13. Bello, PM sent Joe
  14. So Bello , come back, school me. What's with the New Jersey 6 round rule? I made the special tube set-up as requested, don't know about NJ rules. Ya' think mabe there might be a small market for this set-up? Admittedely a lot of work to just add one more round, but then again if you are the last man standing that still has one in the chamber !!! Joe B
  15. I made a custom 6 round tube for a fellow in NJ back in 2011. The tube is modeled after a factory Benelli 5 round tube plus blind extension. The tube assembly I made is just like the factory 5 rd except that the actual tube is one round longer (about 16 inch) and the blind extension is correspondingly shorter (a little over 4 inch). When assembled there is no doubt that this is not a full 7 rd set-up because the extension has the necked down / ribbed design of the factory part. See if this pic comes thru... Joe
  16. Hy Guys, So here's the deal. If you have been around the forum for a while you know that I have been making and selling chrome molly steel FL tubes for over five years now. High quality, 100% satisified customers. I think that I was the first to offer U.S. made FL tubes back then. Since that time others have come into the market with their versions.. all high quality as well, from what I understand. I my small shop the manufacturing process is relatively labor intensive, I can't compete with the low cost guys.... not complaining, it's the American way. I will no longer be making standard FL M4 tubes. I will however continue to make specials per request, like special colors, camo or even unusual ones like the request that I had for a factory style six round two piece tube. So, I have a few finished tubes that I want to clear out. Offering these at $50 each with free shipping. I have six tubes in standard matte black Diamondkote ready to go. Also have six "in the white' that can be finished in any color that you may need. As usual contact me at [email protected] Joe B

    M4 Question

Hookster, thank you, apology accepted... no need to go sit in the corner.

    M4 Question

OOPS! let's not forget FL tubes from the originator of the FL tube for the M4... SOCOMguy. I'm still here and making the same high quality tubes for over 5 years now. I have 6 ready to ship, no waiting and the price is right at $145, shipping is free. Contact me at [email protected]
  19. I haven't been saying much of late, just lurking... but kinda' wondering where "unobtanium" has been? His posts were always thoughtful and informative.
  20. Ya' the competition has gotten brutal.. I guess it's just the American way. I have heard that kip makes a high quality product. I have had many favorable comments about mine on this forum. Unfortunatly I have never had all the optional choices side by side for comparison... even than wouldn't speak negatively about the competors product. Joe Oh' bello, as an aside, I believe that we deployed to the Med in 1970 with USS Austin in the squadron.. maybe a little before your time on board. The Austin was brand spanking new then.... Ours , LST 1176 the Graham County a bit "rusty"
  21. I couldn't resist jumping in on this one. It seems that there lots of options for FL M4 tubes these days. I'm pretty sure that the tubes that I have been making and selling for just over five years now originated the idea in the US. The "SOCOMguy" tubes are chrome- moly steel, with a gun specific polymer finish that is a perfect match to all the other black parts of your M4. The Ti vs steel weight issue comes up every now and then, I calculated it... with a full 7 rounds the Ti mag is 17% lighter that the steel (17.4 vs 21.0 oz)... doubt that you would notice the difference. My tubes are marked "US" , this may be important to some of you fellows. Price, $145 postage included; in stock - shipped the same day as payment received. For more info to go ... [email protected]
  22. Yes looks like a bit of confusion here with the various models... but really- a mag tube, follower and spring is a pretty simple and universal set-up. Doesn't much matter what gun it's on. It's pretty simple to try one spring and see who it works, if you are not happy, change springs... not a big deal.
  23. O ya' I still have full length tubes available for the M4 , same price, $145 including shipping. Contact [email protected] for info.
  24. I see that this thread has resurfaced.. so if you all will excuse a bit of off topic news I thought that you might like to see a pix of our real traditional upper Michigan deer hunting camp. The pix was after Lake Superior dumped some white stuff on us (thats tracking snow for you down south guys !). This is rifle hunting country so there is not much need for the M4 unless one is planning on a little close up fast action deep in the cedar swamp. FL mag tube update.... I just finished a small batch of tubes that are ready to be sent out for "Diamond-Kote" , color will be the usual matte black that matches the other black parts of the gun. If by chance someone wants a tube in some other color ( red, blue, purple etc!! ) this would be a good time to contact me. Regards, Joe B [email protected]
  25. I will say that the CC Ti tube looks nice, but the other option is the SOCOMguy tube furnished in standard matte black that matches all the other black parts of the M4. The finish is high tech polymer "Diamond-kote" by Gun -Kote. Joe B [email protected]
