Yes it is possible,but not for the everyday joe.A gunsmith is the one you want to do this,as these stocks are not cheap.

Go buy a used Remington 870, and a new Supernova in Max4.You'll still come out ahead in the end!LOL

Experience is the best teacher.Feel the triggers of every shotgun you can,and then shoulder them.there will be winners and losers.The crispest trigger may not feel natural on the shoulder,and vice versa.Take price out of the equation,as hard as that may be to do.People use the highest price as the benchmark to judge all others by,and nit pick until they convince themselves that the big$$$ gun is no better than the"Remingberg 1300" that costs less. You get what you pay for.Sometimes you get more.

In Fl the weather has been a mixed bag of rain and heat.Archery season opened last month,and turkeys are legal game with a bow.It's hard enough hunting them with a bow in spring,but fall takes it to another demension of frustration.The open pastures where the Oceola's hang out makes trying to bust a flock a moot point.The tactic that is holding water is setting up in known travel areas and waiting.I'm not pushing too hard,because these birds get freaked out very easily,and I want to floss the Benelli in a month!

I put an adjustable Truglo sight on the front to counter the highs and lows that come with diff. choke/shell configurations.It is more critical with turkey loads,but comes in handy elsewhere.

The funny thing is,that most of the deer hunting I do is done by tracking in the snow.Calls are usually nonexistant in my kit.I like turkey hunting most,because that's when I bust out the whole isle of Cabela's worth of calls.

Don't be blinded by the smoke.If I was rewarded for sales in any way,then I might be concerned.I sell nothing.I research on my own,and I also understand where you are coming from,to an extent.I've used Benelli guns long before I was involved with any mfgr. and that is why I came here.The potential to get feedback from other hunters came after I saw the headings Big Game hunting and my favorite,Turkey Hunting.Things took an odd turn,but that goes with the territory.You dudes are quite entertaining.I am looking forward to the next post.It is like excercise for the mind,and that is priceless. till next time!
