It went for $1100 + a Glock 19 w/OEM installed Trijicon Night Sights. I sold it to help produce a down-payment for this pictured below. I ended up with about $100 more than I needed, and signed papers on the last day that the incentives were good for for the free racing school at Bob Bondurant, and the dealer cash. So it was not a sale that could be avoided in my book, even though it happened early on in the savings process, it was integral. I think most of you will agree it was a savvy move (signing monday saved me $3K and got me $3K worth of free performance driving school): All that said...M4 is a helluva shotgun!

Just fine. Take it apart and you can see there are NO parts that will be stressed by it. There are no pins, etc. that are taking a beating. You are doing no more harm than "live" fire.

Meh, stop posting pix of the discounted/damaged product shotgun. Yeah, it still looks good, but we can still see that little scratch that probably saved you a few hundred $$$. At least photo-shop it out. Jeez. No class.

Got $1100+a G19 (shipped from Glock Feb. 2009, currently has 600 down the tube) with factory installed Trijicon's, 3 mags, and a Blade-tech IWB holster. Thanks all, and I loved owning the M4. Didn't sell it for performance reasons at all, I just don't have the place to blow stuff up with it outside like I was used to and it became a paperweight that sat in my closet. I still think the M4 is tops for a combat shotgun.

Yes, but it's the only mechanically weak link on the weapon really. Everything has a mechanical weak-spot. Everything. The M4S90 just has VERY FEW (one?) and an ergonomic weakpoint (long stock). Both the rail and stock are fixable with a minimal of cash/effort.

Because it is a law made for an AK-47 that was adapted to other platforms. The pistons only count as one part though, so if you actually follow that crap, it equals out, lol.

It's all good. I wish I had more time to shoot, but I don't. It doesn't make sense to keep the shotgun as it is meant for shooting, or self-defense, and I don't use it as my primary in my appartment. I prefer my SIG. Also, I need a CCW and want a G19 or 32. You aren't going to find a better M4 setup for the price. Period. Sure, you can get them for $1450-1500 or so including taxes after the rebate, but good luck slapping night-sights, a Ti tube, Ti bolt-handle, and the rest on there for $200. If a Benelli-forum user buys it, expect a few choke-tubes to be thrown in. Everyone on here knows how OCD I am. This shotgun is flawless.

$200 is hardly a fortune. You did it wrong. You buy an M600A for $100, you sell the head for $60, then you buy a KX2C. Done. Don't buy an M600C NIB or yeah...you are gonna get ripped. Build it and sell the KL4 on CPF.com to some guy who will lap it up (They love it for an EDC there). I build several of those and sold at a profit over the years.
