  1. Kip is usually a very busy guy. He has never truly disappeared since he joined this forum. He has, however, been hard to get hold of at times for various reasons. It may take a while, but you will be taken care of.
  2. Numrich's used to sell "replacement" magazines that they SWORE were different than factory, but they matched the finish IDENTICALLY, and were out before a lot of people had the full-length stuff. I believe they were OEM replacement parts and the same item as used on LE/MIL orders. Mine cost me $119 back in 2008 (I think it was '08, maybe '09). Kip's is a much better product in every way.
  3. Kip is learning to keep things to himself that are under R&D. Since it DOES take him a while to bring something to market, no need letting the cat out of the bag so far in advance that you get million-page threads about something like the bolt-handles where people are joking about IF/WHEN.
  4. The brake is not a consideration unless you have a rare OEM brake, in which case attaching Kip's will get you knocked down a part. I love Kip's work and work ethic, but "fast" is not part of it. That's just something you are going to learn if you stick around for a while. Hustle him to speed up all you want, it's just not going to happen. What WILL happen is that when you DO get the parts/he comes out with them, they are going to be flawless and to aerospace tolerance. Kip does not pass on the R&D phase to a paying customer. He R&D's it himself, or as a favor for free to willing people. Never with products in a "Well, looks good, hope it works, will get a lot of e-mails and I'll fix it if it doesn't" way.
  5. Read the rest of what has been written: 2011 will present the return of a few past products, as well as several new ones we are excited to offer, including offering up to five (5) 922® compliance parts to replace components present in import form on standard model 11707/11717 Benelli M4's
  6. same shotgun, different stocks/pictures.
  7. I don't have it mounted yet, so I can't say really how best I will hold it. The lever does not have enough room to articulate if flipped. It's a non-issue, though, regardless of how it's held.
  8. I would love to fire a 3" slug out of that thing 1-handed just to prove I could.
  9. Sounds like a false sense of security to me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3S24ofEQj4 One never knows...
  10. This: http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php/18023-M4-Retractable-Stock-for-Sale-775?p=154092#post154092
  11. Something like 36" or so. That's as short as the C-stock collapses. If you get the SBS version, about 32".
  12. Correct. The barrel/ARGO system is physically half the weapon, too.
  13. Just remove the OEM hammer and put that one in. Should be very straightforward.
  14. Will this fit an 11721? Not a bad deal at all for someone who bought an M4 with a C-stock and for whatever reason wants the regular PG to go with. Retail on these is around $150 give or take I believe.
  15. Sickhouse! I thought long and hard about it. One of the MD's at work is working with local LE and could surely help me rubber stamp the way through the red tape, but giving up 2 rounds to lop off 4" of barrel, I just couldn't justify it really. Still, it wins for CDI factor!
  16. Girlfriends and mistresses?
  17. Magazine tube (Kip, FFT, SOCOMguy), follower(Brownells, Kip, lots of other places), hand-guards (Surefire, FFT, Sidearmor, others), Mesa Tactical Urbino (Mesa Tactical).
  18. ^ Women just don't understand.
  19. Worth-while for what? What data are you trying to collect? Who owns multiple M4's? Why? I have owned 3 so far and am building a 4th. They were owned 1 at a time as I sold them each in turn to buy various other things. Now I have the spare $$ on hand to build up a monster of an M4S90. 1-off parts, Magpul, Surefire, Nailbender, LaRue, Leupold, Aimpoint, Carriercomp, CCM, Oveready, and other manufacturer's components all being used. Really it's more of a "who's who" reunion rolled into one weapon and I'm building it as much for the CDI factor as the usefulness factor.
  20. Is his PM box full? Shoot him an offer and if it's realistic he might go for it. This site is not an equipment exchange and thus "has no rules" except federal/state regarding how WTS threads are conducted. If OP wants to conduct an "auction" he can do it unless the mods delete it. May piss a few people off/be annoying to some, but it looks like it's spawned a little more interest than the last WTS thread.
  21. Welcome. I think this ad is much more representative of the weapon than the first thread you posted. It is factual, concise, and does not leave room for vagaries. If we have a shortage of C-stocks or if another "scare" like the Obama election hits, this will move fast. I also suggest buying the +2 magazine extender OEM from Benelli since you do have LE contacts. There are many people who happily pay for them just because they want a 100% Benelli shotgun with a 7-round tube and that is about as close as you can get. Sell it in the package included only with the shotgun.
  22. GLWS. The real-world price/availability of the C-stock is going to have a direct impact on how well this moves.
