  1. That's true. I just sold one of HK's stocks for $390, but I have paid $900 for them in the past and sold them for near that, too. The Benelli stock market is all based on market trends, with the C-stock and then the straight stock fetching MSRP and higher, and the PG stock being the redheaded stepchild. Noone seems to want a ginger. Now that Mesa came out with the Urbino, it's even tougher to make the same. What's going to happen is you are going to have to wait until someone decides to go BACK to the PG stock from the C_stock either for personal, or retail reasons. Your stock might sit on the market a long time, or you could sell it stupid cheap. Either way, $75 will sell it at some point. Just TTT it a lot, post in multiple places, and accept any near offers.
  2. Lubricate appropriately with TW-25B and see if this changes anything.
  3. $75 is a pretty nice price. I have purchased for more, seen them go for less.
  4. SPF to you, and pm sent w/shipping and payment info
  5. Has been attached and the weapon fired about 100 times. LNIB. $390 shipped USPS Priority. Payment via USPS MO.
  6. I'm selling for a helluva deal. Someone needs to buy...
  7. Not only does Kip produce stuff with LaRue Tactical-esque quality, he lacks the Texas size ego that damn near EVERYONE else in this business seems to have.
  8. I'm not saying. No hints, no clues, but it won't be as loud as my M4S90 was, which means it will be easier for me to shoot it on my Dad's property. He owns some land outside city limits, but still people live in the vicinity.
  9. Don't go trying to polish the Chrome lining on your m4. It's totally different from an unlined 870p. Just because your car has a motor and your weedeater has a motor does not mean they run on the same swill.
  10. Yes, its that damn release button that's hitting you. With irons, fully extend it, with optics mid.
  11. Vette is still staying as it was. I'm doing some other firearm related stuff, though. Keeping it under wraps until complete, then will post. Selling the m4 will cover about 1/3 of this system.
  12. +1 to all the above.
  13. wet the brush with clp, hoppes, whatever, and go to town rodding it back and forth like Ron Jeremy and it will clean it out fast. Pile of lead shaving will issue from the muzzle. No drill needed.
  14. Shoot whatever. Spend $4 and buy a tornado brush. Thank me after 60 seconds and a mirror polish looking bore. Ps, its the slugs. That's lead on the fc.

  16. SOCOMguy was around before Kip's product came to market and is a straight shooter. Both Kip and SOCOMguy (and SOCOMguy's avatar?) are good people. IMO, it boils down to this: Kip accurately represents his product, SOCOMguy accurately represents his product. Both have named their price. Both are quality people and deserving of whatever they make from your business. Buy the product that you think best suits you for your money. Just how I see it, and I'm a huge fan of Kip's, but I gotta call this one like I see it. Both guys are on the up and up!
  17. You can buy the barrel and just keep it at a buddy's house until your SBS is approved though, correct?
  18. I might have an M4C stock LNIB if the sale price was right. $299 sure won't get it done, though.
  19. Maybe at ripoff prices. I never priced one that ridiculous, though. You need to find a new C3 dealer.
  20. Both tubes are quality products from what I hear (have not bought from SOCOMguy, but he has never had a bad review that I know of). Some people want steel, some want Ti.
  21. The one that came on your gun will work just fine. I would recommend selling your M4 (or keeping it) and just buying a factory SBS M4. It is a much better alternative to a project that may or may not turn out well.
  22. He has a lot of stuff going. He is not a liar. He does have issues with communication, but I have NEVER! seen him send out a sub-standard product, or fail to send out a product or issue a refund or anything of the sort. If you hand money to Kip, you will either get it back if you are whiny and impatient, or you will get the flawless product that you paid for. When I call Kip, it can take ME up to a few days to get ahold of him. He's not ignoring anyone, he is legitimately busy. I have talked to him enough to know that he really enjoys talking to his customers, and he, too, knows this. If he is about to do something/doing something, he knows he cannot get embroiled in a conversation. Man knows his limits. Is he perfect and is this the BEST communication/business model? No. His products are perfect, though, and that's what I'm paying him for. Lately, however, his communication HAS actually seemed to improve as he has streamlined things. I remember "back in the day" when he was actually truly hard to get ahold of and products did take a long time to get. Anyway, I'm far from Kip's fanboy, I just call things like I see it. He is the most OCD, perfectionist person that I have ever dealt with. The work he does for us on the Benelli M4 is just a sliver of what he is doing. Do you really think that he spent tens of thousands of dollars on all that equipment just to produce a few hundred bolt-handles? He has a few customers that you know nothing about, and for the sake of our people in the sand-box, they get first dibs on his time.
  23. I knew of several places that had them, they were all out, now.
  24. I did not, Kip's product is so similar that it's not worth hunting for anymore, arguably, Kip's is better in ways. I was unable to find an M1 bolt-handle from PMT. However, here is a link that you can begin your search with: http://www.kytactical.com/progressive_machine/Product.html#5
