  1. Hey, man... what do you mean by "vipertime?"
  2. Wait a minute... I thought you ALREADY were shooting a new Vinci? That's what you told us previously... or at least implied with your comments and authoritative contributions. Is this a second purchase or a first, "VinciShooter?"
  3. Strange you should mention that... we just did that to our 30 yr-old house (we are retired). Love the floors. Nice investment and very easy to maintain and much healthier that carpet.
  4. Or spending $300 for a date with "Lolita."
  5. Already does that every day on this forum!
  6. Hey, I tried my best and it ain't workin'... I'm going to the house. Hope he passes eighth grade English.
  7. Excuse me, but what are you talking about? What model firearm do you have? That might help us a lot to know that if we are going to try to assist you. Your post is just a little too "off the grid." We need more info than what you have given us. Think it through and re-post. Give us some info abut your firearm. Exactly WHAT are you talking about?
  8. "Who is hoarding all this stuff?"... probably US, when we can find it! Sign of the times. We may be creating our own problem? Maybe we should all mellow out and relax, since it's all going to get better???... Naw, on second thought, better keep looking for ammo, powder, hulls, primers, etc.!!!
  9. In my area, you can find powder, but no primers.
  10. Well, I went there to learn, as per your advice... and I did! What's this world coming to? Mudhen, I sure thank you for the great advice and instruction you gave me a while back when I was fitting my Montefeltro Silver (sorry, Tucker, no pink trigger). Got the shims in and it's on target... had to use two.
  11. I was not clear. Just meant that I am NOT "Chester -- from San Quentin" nor some "internet wizard." Sorry I sounded so fussy. My apologies to you I have offended. I promise to "Lighten up Francis!" (I must admit... I don't even know what a Sybian Lounge is???)
  12. Don't fret. Tom Knapp is fully-booked for performances as far as the eye can see. Just google his website... the dude is working and busy and continuing to amaze everyone.
  13. You are WAY off-base here. I am surprised, you usually have given such great posts... you just missed on this one. That's O.K. You have an "out" here anyway since the title of this morbid and very tired post is "don't listen to MontfeltroPro."
  14. Forum members: I have been working with VINCIshooter by PM's and we are hoping that you will give him another shot at respectability. Although it was me he was trying to fry on the post, I am ready to try to help him. He is now committed to focus on good grades, which I hope will include improvement of spelling, punctuation, and topic content. He is going to "hook-'em'-up" we hope and try to improve. He has great enthusiasm and shotgun knowledge, and perhaps needs some basic skills improvement to ensure that he will succeed in life. He wants to be a vet and maybe has come to realize that computer skills, spelling, etc. are needed and valuable assets. Give him another shot at being part of our community if you can find it in your hearts. He had asked me to give him a "leg up" on this. And so I did. I also asked him not to post SO OFTEN. Hope he does well in the future. He's a good kid. ...However, if he doesn't follow through with sincere efforts, ...then we will .....
  15. Good for you UnOb. Save yourself for your wife.
  16. Why are you bothered by my chair? Come on Novaking -- you push a button, sip your suds, watch TV, read all the entertaining informational **** on this forum, and all the time you are getting a massage from your chair. Feels great. That ain't gay dude, it's HEAVEN. Wake up and smell the coffee. Hetros can enjoy crap like this as well as the other kind. Relational activities with the significant other is also great in this local !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Give it a try... you gonna' like!
  17. A little help from older (car-driving) and very understanding and tolerant friends. Can't believe I did that!!!
  18. UnOb: Congrats on your fine academic career! You'll probably do well in life because of your dedication to complete it. Isn't LSUS in Louisiana? I am a retired (Ph.D) prof. at SHSU and we have a group of eight or so profs who enjoy two golf trips a year to Louisiana for what we call our "Amigeaux" tour. We stay in Lafayette and golf all over Louisiana for usually 3-4 days at a time and eat all the good Cajun food we can. You are giving good advice for the young VINCIshooter to read. Thanks for that. Saw a HUGE alligator on the fairway at Atchafalaya in Paterson, LA, last fall, but didn't have my Benelli with me! Two holes later I had to dodge a water moccasin while trying to take a "discrete" break... if you know what I mean? LA is a great place to visit... but wouldn't want to live there. I'd rather look out for the copperheads in my own Texas back yard (we are surrounded by forest).
  19. Sorry for my absence, but in this case, I decided that silence was the best thing. I've been enjoying sitting in my vibrating easy chair every evening, sipping a refreshing beverage, and laughing my hinie off, looking at you guys doing your thing on this thread. AND... I've been busy just today with a PM reply to the young VINCIshooter which he had just sent today. I was NOT kind... I was firm and told it like I thought it was. I really think he blames me for all this. (I think that he feels like it couldn't have been HIS fault that all this is happening). It all probably fell on deaf ears, just like all the other GOOD advice you guys are trying to pump into his head. I guess I have come to be concerned about the young man's future. He has great enthusiasm, good shotgun knowledge, and a deep "love" for shotguns but I think someone should try to talk some sense to him. He is really hung up on the "tools of the shotgunning trade" at a time in his life when I really think he needs to be more concerned with the tools for LIFE... like knowledge of the English language, spelling, punctuation, and most probably passing grades. He will need these tools and many others to succeed in life, perhaps go to college or a trade school, and communicate with the adult world. Wonder if he has discovered girls yet?... when I was 14, they were a LOT more fun than shotguns! Anyhow, we all have beat his ears back pretty good (not sure he realized that?), but I do worry about his future... (even though he was ugly to me on this thread). Hope he comes around (and QUITS "opinion" postings on every stinkin' thread!) Enough is enough. Just my opinion. I did suggest that he LISTEN more and TALK less.
  20. There is something we say here in Texas: "Life's too short to live in Houston!" I agree with your sentiments. And, welcome to the forum. My point was that we have a bit more FREEDOM here in Texas than in the Republic of California.
  21. Me neither. I live in Texas but we do have LOTS of California folks moving here to live in a free state.
  22. Thanks, Sir Tucker... I really regret giving bad advise. I apologize to the concerned participants here... Need to change my handle to "Montefeltro-buffon!" I'll sign off and go lick my wounds... (and clean my Monty-Silver RH!) I'm a bass-fisherman now, just waiting for Dove Season on the early Fall... (retirement ain't bad... I can recommend it).
  23. Well, I should have known, but I'm wrong on this one. I went to the configurations page on the web-site and found that the Monty is no longer listed in left hand! I could have sworn that it was there last year when I was buying... but I suppose I could be wrong. Sorry, Patrick (and VINCIshooter)... maybe ?somebody? could tell us for sure IF indeed the Montefeltro was ever offered in left hand... I sure thought it was. In that case you could look for a used model.
