  1. Ouch, that's painful. Maybe someone here will offer you something close? The are getting harder and harder to find.
  2. Good. Take some pictures and post the package up. Maybe someone will bite?
  3. Common problem using a torch inside a polymer stock!
  4. I wish carriercomp had continued with the bayonet mount with a custom SOG blade.
  5. The M3 stocks are locktited together too huh? That looks like some hand done stippling. Stippling is too tedious for me to do, I just sent a couple FFT reproduction sets out to Tango Arms. I figure they'd do a better job than me anyway and I won't end up with a sore neck from bending over for four hours. I do like the hood around the reaper too. Nice touch.
  6. Who did the stippling on the forend? If Tango Arms did them, that would add some value. If home done, it might hurt the value. By the way, I'm not trying to beat your price up. I'm just sharing what I've seen the market support.
  7. You might find someone willing to pay more, but 150 is over double what they originally cost. More than that is neckbeard territory! How much did you pay originally for it?
  8. I assume it is a 11707? The going rate for a new one is around 1700-1800 dollars new. You'd have better luck parting it out rather than selling it as a package deal. I'd try 1500-1600 on the stock shotgun, then sell the FFT kit for 200 flat here on the forum. Some guys might want to part it out for a premium since they only want the trigger or disconnector. Sell the TTI by itself for 50 bucks. Sell the OEM magazine tube for 75. It's more work, but the results are better. Selling it as a package for say 1800 likely won't get any bites.
  9. I see them go for 150 dollars whenever they come up. I'd pay that for one.
  10. Always like seeing people customize their gear. I just installed a similar shell carrier on a Benelli M4 stock for a client. Mesa Tactical claims it doesn't fit, but it does. It's just a PITA to take apart and reassemble.
  11. The Benelli Supersport looks awesome in nickel and carbon fiber. I’m not sure if it’s real carbon fiber or if it’s just a laminate.
  12. I’ve installed about 50 of the FFT Trigger packs for clients with never an issue. The only issue I’ve encountered was an out of spec trigger frame that wouldn’t allow oem or aftermarket trigger packs to function. Chances are you won’t have any issues and you’ll end up with a slightly better trigger pull as a result.
  13. I have yet to install one of these kits, but the site owner posts here frequently and is a good guy. He’s pretty much the go to guy for collapsible stocks and some other hard to find Benelli parts.
  14. Many prefer the ergonomics and reduced weight of the OEM handguards over the Pringle’s can with picatinny rails. I had several of them, and found the positioning of a light on it to be in the way of my hand.
  15. Thanks. This one came from a buddy who passed away a few years ago. I've been slowly fixing it up with aftermarket and plating. A&S ships fast. You'll have it in a few days. If you run in to any issues swapping parts over from the OEM pack to the A&S, let me know. My tutorial for disassembling and reassembling them is functioning currently with pictures. Didn't realize Scalarworks was backordered. I'm a dealer for them, but I only have a couple of the Aimpoint models on hand.
  16. I agree with you OP that the marketing is a little deceptive from Benelli. I've encountered several buyers who thought the H2O model they were buying was an NP3 plated unit. Sadly that isn't the case with the newer production units. Cerakote may give you another layer of protection over the phosphate surface and anodized aluminum, but it isn't really completely painted to cover every part of the weapon. Example, the inside of the receiver is left anodized only. There is also none of the lubrication properties that NP3 has. I just sent a client's M4 that was this faux finish today to Robar. One would argue that having the plating done yourself is superior since you can use the better NP3+ finish. You can also have your accessories and OEM parts plated that were skipped by Benelli. Example, we ditched the plastic trigger guard frame for an A&S billet unit. This will be coated to match the finish. Things like plating the rear sight housing, and the aluminum body of the collapsible stock will be an improvement over what Benelli originally released. Getting all your accessories done is also nice to go with that finished look theme. The negative like Evolution stated is the finish is expensive. Clients typically see a 900 dollar bill by the time everything has been chemically stripped, plated and reshipped. It also takes forever. 3-4 month wait times are typical. The H2O series were typically more expensive when they were first released because of the plating cost. This is where some market deception took place in my opinion. My personal work in progress model. Started out as a black unit. Waiting on its carriercomp tube, Scalarworks sync rail, Ava Tactical Mount, Light components, DMW safety and A&S trigger frame to come back for plating. Then I need to buy a Nickel Boron plated Trijicon RM01 Gen 2 for it.
  17. Getting a folding table and a bench rest would probably shrink those groups significantly. I’m jealous that you can shoot on your property! I use a Mapp torch to get the stocks apart. You can control the flame size pretty well inside the stock body. I remove the 3/8” Nut from the bottom of the stock and transfer it to the receiver side. Then I install a second Nut. With the two nuts bound together, it acts as a jam Nut and allows you to unscrew the center shank from the stock retaining piece. It will definitely need heat to remove since they use thread locker on all the things. If you try to just muscle through it, you’ll twist the stock retaining piece through the side of the plastic stock. Once out there are a few different options available for the stock. Noveske makes a QD plate. Mesa makes the Shell Carrier. When building the H2O Extremes, I send the components in for plating.
  18. Do you have a necessity for additional shells to be with the shotgun? If I was using a fixed pistol grip stock or field stock, I'd disassemble the sling assembly and install one of these Mesa units in the rear. They're a pain in the butt to get apart, but it is doable. https://mesatactical.com/products/stock-mount-sureshell-carrier-for-ben-tac-stocks-except-ben-m4-4-shell-12-ga/
  19. Glad I could help and it was up to your expectations! Clean build, I like the keep it simple builds with tangible upgrades. Limbsaver upgrades are no joke. My only dislike of them is how they have that tacky rubberized feel that can hang up on clothing. Well worth the 40% reduction in perceived recoil though. Is that picture on your property or at a range?
  20. Sometimes it isn't the aftermarket part that has tolerance issues. I've encountered trigger packs on the Benelli M4 platform where the trigger frame was out of spec. Benelli then fit the trigger components to fit that out of spec frame. So if you drop an in spec aftermarket component in to it, problems arise. These have all been the cast aluminum frames. No issues with the Polymer units or the limited sample of A&S billet units I have handled (about 6 units now.)
  21. https://www.brownells.com/gunsmith-tools-supplies/shotgun-tools/choke-tube-wrenches/choke-tube-speed-wrench-prod1827.aspx I use the 12 gauge model for the Benelli M4's.
  22. I’ve had the choke come loose before when using the factory tool. It never fully unscrewed, just found it finger tight. I bought the Briley choke wrench which gives you a lot more leverage. Never had a problem since.
  23. Is your laser designed to handle recoil or 12 gauge? Are there adjustments for adjusting the point of aim?
  24. http://store.avatactical.com/Magpul-M-Lok-Aluminium-3-Slot-Rail-p77437531 They sell a picatinny rail segment in plastic or aluminum. You could then mount your laser to it. Mlok mounts themselves haven’t matured enough for a laser with a specific built in mount as far as I know.
  25. I’ll take a look when I get home.
