  1. Try removing the trigger group, then depress the shell stop lever while re-inserting it. That should allow the trigger housing to be properly positioned towards the rear, and vertically to engage the cut-out in that far right piece. If that does not work, ensure the piece you pointed out was properly installed in the grip, with correct orientation and that the retaining pin actually passes through the retention hole.
  2. One of my troops gave me a 12GA boresnake, and I swear by them now. Remember copper bore brushes and projectiles don't hurt centerfire chrome-lined bores, so it stands to reason the bore snake should have no adverse effect on your chrome lining.
  3. My view is that 922 pertains to the sporting definition of imports. NFA items have never fallen under the sporting purpose category, so I wish I could believe 922 does not apply. Until I know for sure, I play it safe.
  4. :)Gunbroker is a wonderful place Now I can get a nine-twenty-two ® compliant follower for my SBS, that resembles the stock one: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=229346068

  6. I called Kip this morning after reading these questions, I was curious as well. He does not know if Geissele is including springs yet. He is still trying to see if the stand alone disconnector will be available seperately too.

    new M4

http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20839&highlight=m4+lube I found this useful, to the point, and correct.
  8. Old thread, current price if anyone is requiring one; http://www.berettausa.com/products/benelli-m4-pistol-grip-stock/?F_All=Y
  9. Do not try this at home.
  10. Ditto here, http://www.shop.carriercomp.com/product.sc?productId=15&categoryId=5 Except there is a waiting list. Email subject line BM4FCG to [email protected] and Kip will contact everyone on that list as soon as Geissele ships.
  11. I wholly concur. Some folks like seeing a successful hunt, just because.
  12. Ever heard tales of hunting Star valley on Wyoming's western border? Mutual of Omaha's wild Kingdom came to mind for me. Snowshoe hares, porcupines, close to a thousand elk between Thayne and Afton as seen from the road. The hills there ARE alive. Headed back this fall.
  13. Good job Marine. But now Bill has exposed himself. Let's hope he does not get badgered too hard. Geissele cited a few reasons (called excuses by many) for the lengthy delay from inception. Same reasons I'd heard from you. Guess it's true, triggers should not be loaded into gumball machines at the mall. High end merchandise takes time to develop and build, even for this guy, and he specializes in triggers. Imagine that. Classy move collaborating with the best. Make sure you don't lose that waiting list. BTW old man, I'm still offering that trade for goods/services if you are willing, an SBEII already equipped with the pistol grip stock you were looking for. PM me and let me know.
  14. Geissele drop shipped my last trigger order through a distributor, which actually arrived before the optics and ammo did. Saved shipping costs since the distributor's agreement with them covers it all in one shot.
  15. The Trijicon RMR works great.
  16. http://geissele.com/faq.aspx Combined shipping is always a plus, in case the consumer is buying more than a trigger that day.
  17. I could care less where it comes from, as long as the manufacturer stands behind it, and the distributor has it in stock.
  18. Is he making the trigger too, or just the hammer and disconnector?
  19. Limbsaver works better period. Shoot a case and a half of 3-1/2" shells in one morning through an SBEII with a comfort tech stock, and pop in (10 second change-over) a LS and you'll curse the propoganda. Benelli good, Comfort Tech is a gimmick. I just bought an SBEII from a neighbor for just over $500, and dumped the saved dough into an endurance test with a friend this past week-end. I asked what the grin was about as I rubbed my shoulder. He offered to shoot the rest of my ammo for me. Seriously considered letting him until he said "nah you shoot it through my gun, and I'll just watch your face". Weird.... .... until I shot it. Picked the shell up off the ground, same stuff... then I was grinning too.
  20. Rook!!! The "?" key is not censored here. Your line of questioning assures continuity for those hoping your thread title may enlighten them too. Being shown the door to find answers elsewhere 1st defeats the purpose of ever coming here:rolleyes:. Do search abroad, bring that intel and new ?'s back right here and share at will. I for one would appreciate it if you did NOT prune your train of thought to level 9 mind-benders that other sites/searches could not fathom. I went the same place you went (Larue's site) and dang sure didn't plaster their PDF's all over my basement wall. There's a lot of information out there and having a question after the fact, and NOT asking it, well, that's just stupid. Asking ain't. BTW this is YOUR friggin thread. Take it from a Flag Officer, you fired this flare, you decide the trajectory. Don't let anyone boot your ass into their way of figurin' stuff out. That would be the real PITA:mad:.
  21. Odds are it would come down once competitors follow suit.
  22. I don't remember the tube order date. I do recall it arriving sooner than the anticipated 5 weeks. The Urbino stock I ordered took longer than that while they sorted out Limbsaver recoil pad supply. I actually got 2 M4's and was checking the CC home page, I believe it said orders through Feb 25th have shipped so it seems like he's nailing the ETA's. If I pick up that SBEII tomorrow the next CC mag tube will have to wait.
  23. I almost hate doing it. His girl deserved better. My only wish is that he'd hand her the dough. I just got an M4 last month, which still looks like an odd ball next to my hoard of pioneer and cowboy guns. This SBEII will look more at home having walnut and black attire.
  24. dmarc, You sound like you may know used Benelli values. My next door neighbor is moving and asked if I'd give $550 for his like new Benelli 12 GA SBEII. It's one of those "splitsville" deals where his GF gifts are being tossed in a pile. That price seem reasonable?
