  1. You can just consider it a spare spring... they do wear out
  2. CC... they do a fantastic cerakote... Otherwise you can go for the "muted" finish if you want to avoid cerakote altogether
  3. Most likely they got tired of people emailing them about when they could buy it ?
  4. Selling my last "spare" AVA tactical mount. This is the Mod1 with the updates that includes the 0.8" and 1" ring clamps. I opened the packaging to inspect the parts on arrival and then sealed them back up (see pics). Please ask any questions. Asking $230 paypal G&S shipped to your door (in the U.S.A.) image 1 image 2
  5. Modified is a good compromise choke. Otherwise cylinder or improved cylinder if you're mostly using slugs. But honestly from what I've read it comes down to your specific barrel and ammo and experimenting with chokes to see what works best in the end for you.
  6. The front sling plate looseness is normal... at least for the ones I've handled. I've taken it off as I use a flashlight mount that has a qdc option for a sling
  7. It should be the same nut that's on there. No need for a new one unless you don't want to deal with clean up on the one you remove...
  8. Oh... well the commercial tube at midwest gun works is the original 5rd one. I'm not familiar with a benelli commercial 7rd tube...
  9. The LE mag tube (Benelli OEM) is steel and parkerized (???). Some commercial options (with carrier comp being highly recommended) use titanium so you save weight and have fewer corrosion concerns. There are other good commercial steel and titanium options too... I'm just not sure which ones are currently being made
  10. That's more in the clay / bird hunting /sporting side of things... but here's another forum's take on the topic https://www.shotgunworld.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=210620
  11. I like modified for that... though some might suggest improved cylinder if you'll be shooting slugs more often. In the beginning avoid cheap birdshot until you've broken in the springs for a bit. I generally shoot federal buckshot and slugs... but I can't think of any horrendous ammo. Lately I've carried brenneke and ddupleks slugs due to bear concerns. I prefer a single tube... though you'll have to remove that pesky red loctite to get the original one out. If that's a concern the extensions work fine. There's a lot of info on the website... some images might be down from the older posts but that's usually not too big of an issue to deal with. Enjoy your new boomstick
  12. Hey, Happy to help any M4 fan... Just carrying on the tradition of long time members like StrangerDanger
  13. I'm not sure if this will help... but so far I've enjoyed the A&S trigger guard https://ansshotguns.com/?product=enhanced-trigger-guard-benelli-m4 Just something to consider
  14. If installing on a collapsible stock you need some different screws... I posted some info a year or two ago...
  15. Yes... did you not believe me the first time I answered this question on another thread? Here's a link to a sale post of an m4 with the military barrel
  16. I contacted Briley a month or so ago and they were hoping to have them in a month or so... hopefully soon I did as about 922r and was told this "Yes, All the materials used: steel, titanium, aluminum extrusions, aluminum bar stock, carbon and all machining is USA made. " They are also planning a full length carbon fiber magazine tube... not sure how I feel about that
  17. Another option is to buy them from a part seller... I've linked a US based seller below but I know there are often international laws and rules that prevent shipping guns parts https://www.midwestgunworks.com/benelli-nova-supernova/parts.html

    Slugs

Yet I've been fine shooting through modified for YEARS... it's more important to check slug type. Seems like an odd statement given they ship thousands of m4s with modified chokes... unless they expect m4 users to only use birdshot. But of course there are no typos on websites...
  19. Have you contacted Benelli directly? Sometimes it can take a bit to get a hold of someone on their help line but I've had good luck going there... or leaving a message and I was always called back the next day or so.
  20. Yes, that one has the integrally choked barrel like the military ones
  21. Instead of the Hayl rail and its set screws I'd wait for the Briley m4 handguard that will be coming out soon http://dissidentarms.com/index.php/product/benelli-m4-m-lok-handguard-briley/ Just check out the hayl rail instructional video... I don't want to keep putting in and removing set screws when I want to clean
  22. Selling my two Mod0 AVA Tactical light mounts. Both have the 1" light ring mount clamp (sorry 0.8" fans). One is new in package with instructions: $210 Paypal G&S shipped with USPS Priority inside USA https://imgur.com/VeEx4RW https://imgur.com/R8b2fum The other has been mounted but in good condition. I did use a sharpie to darken the AVA logo and there is a little loss of anodizing by the upper left mount ring screw hole (as seen in pics). I do not have the original instruction pamphlet but here's the official vid (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rA5fHo0KAvA) $170 Paypal G&S shipped with USPS Priority inside USA https://imgur.com/Y13FTNs https://imgur.com/EVF7OWK https://imgur.com/K9pHTgt https://imgur.com/KlDNuDX https://imgur.com/GLS8nlM
