  1. Merry Christmas to all my Benelli brothers and sisters.....
  2. Driving over it with a rubber tire truck is a bit different than a sling letting loose and the gun falling three feet onto rocks. The truck test has little merit IMO.
  3. ^^^ Correct, the weight being removed from the muzzle does allow for quicker transitions from target to target. I don’t do any 3 Gun at the range anymore, my M4 is for home use mostly.
  4. BEST can be a darn subjective word.....it is different for everyone.
  5. Cool......thanks for the update
  6. I’ve considered that mount. As discussed earlier, it doesn’t sit into the sling loop slot very well. I believe a bit of blending would help it considerably. Thought I would try something else....never hurts.
  7. Dang that’s an awesome port job.....
  8. Have a used Benelli M4 collapsible stock and grip available. It has been used, bit of light wear, Noveske QD cup installed. Looking for $175 shipped within ConUS. SOLD
  9. That Cerakote deal was a bit of a disappointment.
  10. I keep all the factory pieces. A few years ago a guy was looking for a factory tube on the cheap. Seems he dropped his M4 or it fell over. He had stated there was a gouge and a finish math he didn’t care for. Someone sold him a tube for $35
  11. I think you may be over thinking it a bit
  12. I’m seeing a pattern here........
  13. Arrrr......a damn fine job she be!
  14. Thanks Les’ When I read over it afterwards, I thought I threw a curve ball into the mix
  15. I wouldn’t think an aluminum screw would hold up well, but it is just a buttpad. I would be more inclined to use a steel fastener with zinc based anti seize compound if I were extremely worried about the dissimilar metals.
  16. My apologies,.......I got this infor incorrect. Sorry to have created some confusion
  17. The Noveske adapter is only Ned ed for the collapsible stock. Just finished the Limbsaver install on mine........rather comfy.
  18. Extremely hard to find parts for. What are you needing? Benelli customer service is always worth checking with.
  19. I suppose that would work well, IF I wanted to use the fixed stock body.
  20. A bit of light filing got the mount to where it would snugly fit into the slot.
  21. I believe one must consider the weight differences when comparing the metals. Most discussions always have strength to weight ratio factored in. Being from the aircraft industry for the last 32 years, I have a bit of experience with the lighter weight alloys. I really don’t care to get into a debate, just wanted to interject the above. I’ve always used steel tubes, the few ounces of weight savings is not worth the cost, IMO. Then there is the issue of running an aluminum follower in a titanium tube. The clearance is large enough to prevent galling, but the idea makes me cringe.
