  1. Yes, got it for $11 on eBay. I originally got it just to keep spare ammo in when hiking but it actually works pretty well on your side.
  2. It’s ok, not quite as innovative as their scope mounts. It seems to return to zero fine and mounts solid. it’s very similar to an ADM mount. Bobro is still my go to mount.
  3. I’ve owned several RSA’s over the years they have held up very well. True they are made of carbon composite & titanium vs aluminum but will take abuse. They were originally part of the German IdZ program. It has a few points over aimpoint . no POA shift when using a cowitness , solar backup and it’s extremely light. The AP is aluminum, has aftermarket support and is less complicated. They both are combat tested, both have battery life in the years and both are well made. Can’t go wrong with either.
  4. I’ve actually got some of the best deals I’ve ever found in the ArF EE. I once got a like new pristine FNC for $1600. I actually PMed the guy to tell him what he had and what it was worth. He said he was a lawyer doing an estate sale and that was his asking price. I claimed it and the next person in line PMed me and offered $4.5k Needless to say, I became the proud but brief owner of a FNC. ? I’ve also saw one of the rarest Arsenal AKs sell for $1200 (these go for INSANE $) because they were a special run of 25 for a movie and what was left of them found their way to the market. Again I told the guy what he had but someone already ripped his arm off the take it!
  5. No, mine wasn’t. It had the one position extension but I could push the button and and collapse it without locking and I could remove it.
  6. No, I like having easy access to mine. Besides it’s pretty much fixed on as long the cap it on the end.
  7. pretty painless swap. The TG goes in much easier now, the safety is 2x as loud and has a more sold feel. Not sure it was a necessity but I’d do it again! ?
  8. Was just delivered! ?
  9. Thanks! It should be here tomorrow after a 800 mile detour today…
  10. Do the FCG part swap over to the aluminum TG or will I need aluminum TG Specific parts?
  11. QC was a little rough on my 2020 M3 but my 2021 M4 is perfect inside and out.
  12. Haven’t heard anything about oem trigger guards, People were having issues with the A&S not long ago. That’s actually why I decided to grab one of these for $50 less
  13. I assume the aluminum is stronger than the polymer TG.
  14. FYI, they are sold out.
  15. Just got a notification from MGW that they have aluminum trigger guards in, just grabbed one for $140
  16. 922r us Titanium tube, us follower, trigger & hammer. that said I asked the ATF a few years back about 922r and the one who replied back said 922r only applies to the manufacturer. Some people don’t care about it, some follow it religiously. Honestly it’s not something I stress over too much. If the US parts ever give me trouble, I’ll switch to oem parts and never think twice about it.
  17. The flag and the M1014 roll mark for me!
  18. Don’t know what the status of the “limited” part of the edition but correct on the other differences.
  19. Get on the list while you look. https://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/prod/70043
  20. With the ACRO just dropping & M5 using The lens geometry and technology from the T-2 a T-3 might be some time off.
  21. The T2 will give you a clearer image and battery life of around 4-5 years of constant on. the RMR has a very good battery life too but it also has the fiber optic/ tritium option. Both are battle tested, both will serve you well. Cowitness has its draw backs. If your optic gets damaged or muddy both sight and irons are out of commission. If you run a low mount on the rail all you need to do is flick a lever and you have your irons. personally I run a low QD mount RMR because I like running the stock collapsed. I have a BKC front sight and the triangle RMR.
  22. The stock isn’t bad, it’s much less complicated than the M4 stock. The M3 is interesting but I much prefer the M4
  23. Owned both the M3 & M4 (can’t speak for the M1) Out of the 2 the M4 is much better IMO! The M3 is not as reliable in SA and is awkward as a pump. The M4 has been 100% reliable with everything including low brass junk that chocked the M3. Also the M4 is better balanced, much easier to take down and actually has aftermarket options. That said the M3 isn’t bad, I just wouldn’t pick it over the M4…. For any reason… To each their own….
