CFDoc Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Any idea when these hit the shelves? - Justin Quote
Halwg Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Great looking gun. I have to start saving my pennies. Quote
Vertigofirearms Posted January 7, 2014 Author Posted January 7, 2014 likely sometime in February. Quote
Halwg Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 I'll be waiting to see one at the local dealer. May sell my Monte and put the money toward that one. Quote
rbuzz Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 WOW, what a beautiful shot gun, especially the one with the nickel plated engraved receiver. Quote
CFDoc Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 likely sometime in February. I've called several large Benelli dealers that I know and none of them had even heard of the gun yet. Has Benelli said anything about a February date? I'm hoping this thing could become my high volume clay gun, but I'm a little unsure about the light weight and 28" maximum length barrel. - Justin Quote
katosan Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 February Guns & Ammo has a write up by Layne Simpson. MSRP $1,999 black anodized, @ $2,199 nickel and engraving. You might find the article on G&A website. Quote
CFDoc Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Listed on Macks PW; $1,899 for the nickel version. Availability says 2/6/2014. http://www.mackspw.com/Item--i-BEN10462 Quote
Featherman Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Do you suppose they will eventually make one in a Super Sport type configuration? A 30 inch barrel would be nice. Quote
CFDoc Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Probably so, but I bet they port the barrels The only thing I would change about my Super Sport is the ported barrel. There's just no need for it. Quote
Lefty81 Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 The new bolt design is intriguing - no more Benelli "click". Would be nice if they sold these as aftermarket upgrades for previous models, or do they? Then again, people may be less likely to drop 2 large on a new shotgun than 300 on a bolt upgrade. Quote

CFDoc Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Still no word from any local gun stores about when they will arrive. At least none of the ones I've called. Quote
Case Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 $1999 for MSRP for the black version equals what on the street? $1699? Quote
cdan Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Held one in my hands at Gander Mountain today. It is light and the pictures don't do the stock justice. Quote
