KyleL
What would be a fair price for this “like-new” (40-50 rounds through it) Benelli M4 H20? Was told the Aimpoint 5000 optic could be included for the right price.
StrangerDanger
It’s a painted Cerakote H2O, not NP3. It would have to be less than 1800 for me to be interested. Shotgun alone, I wouldn’t be interested in the optic.
KyleL
@StrangerDanger Thanks for the info, you were spot on...it’s 1.5 hours away (one way) and $1,800. Just out of curiosity, what’s would a fair price be on the NP3 version (if I could find one)?
StrangerDanger
I see them list on gunbroker from time to time and they can reach the low 4K realm with bids. At that price, you’re better off just sending a regular one in for plating and ending up with a better product. Such as getting your accessories plated and the things Benelli skipped. Plating would take months and cost you a grand or slightly more.
geno0506
@StrangerDanger is correct $4,000 plus! https://www.gunbroker.com/item/867814953
CobraBG
I would suggest no more than $1600-1700 and I wouldn't want the optic. If it's what you really want then it might make sense. Is it somewhere that you can actually look at it?

CobraBG
Out of my league... Some people have more money than sense or at least more money than me. As always the buyer determines the price something is worth. I should be listing some of my firearms that I have been thinking of selling. With all this crazy panic buying now would be the time. ?
StrangerDanger
I thought about buying used M4’s on the cheap. Kitting then out a little and having the parts plated in NP3 for resale. It seemed like a lot of up front money to maybe make 500-800 bucks, which the government would want a cut of.

Exactly, that’s why I just ordered my 11721 being I got it for $1750, but with tax and shipping a $1900 and change! But at least I don’t have to add the extras this model comes with! CobraBG
Sounds like you picked a good model. At least you won't be chasing parts like the extended mag tube and 3 position collapsible stock to make it right. It will be worth waiting for. I have the same 11721 and was lucky to find a new one for a good price in stock on Gun Broker last November. I've added a Scalarworks SYNC mount with a Trijicon RMR, an IWC front light/sling QD mount with a Surefire M300C (500 lumens) and the IWC bolt on rear QD mount with a Blue Force Gear Vickers sling. I also added a GG&G charging handle and bolt release and a set of Wolff mag springs and trigger pack springs from FFT. I really can't think of anything else I would add... maybe a set of night sights?

CobraBG
So the used H2O with the NP3 finish on Gun Broker sold for $4469 ? That seems crazy. To the OP KyleL - What did you decide to do about the one with cerakote that you were looking at?

You must have gotten a price you liked and it looks like you passed on the optic. Looks nice, two are better than one! ?
KyleL
@CobraBG Yea I meet the guy yesterday and bought it for $1,800 with the optic/ammo/case/sling/etc. Took all that junk off and gave it a good cleaning. She’s looks pretty next to my 11715.

StrangerDanger
I think that’s the buy it now price. Final bid appears to have been ‘only’ $4469.00. I wonder what one of my NP3 builds would go for on there or if the price is being exaggerated by the original limited release of these?
