Doge Posted November 23, 2021 Posted November 23, 2021 I've made a few of these tools available that's pretty useful if you swap out recoil springs often. https://dogedesign.squarespace.com/shop/p/driver16mm 1 10 Quote
kilyung Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 I bought this tool more to support a forum member but I have to admit that this made disassembly REAL easy. The tool is very well machined. Maintenance is now going to be a breeze. 1 1 Quote
StrangerDanger Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 Top quality tool. Nothing else comes close to this tool for easy removal of those plugs. It’s really good for if you encounter one that is stuck. Those notched on the plug are really easy to strip with the wrong tool. 1 Quote
StreetSweeper56 Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Hey, look what just shipped, thanks Doge! Quote
mkporwit Posted December 9, 2021 Posted December 9, 2021 Looks like a really good design. Just ordered mine. Quote
Milspec Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 (edited) Doge, are you going to produce another run? I see you're sold out. I snoozed, I loozed. Edited December 18, 2021 by Milspec 1 1 Quote
Doge Posted December 19, 2021 Author Posted December 19, 2021 Yeah I will run another small batch after the holidays. I was honestly surprised to see so many people ordered it; the first run I was expecting barely anybody to buy it and to last me for the year. 4 Quote
StrangerDanger Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 8 hours ago, Unobtanium said: I want a gas plug tool! It’s solid too. I use it in conjunction with a vice. You just press the tool into the plug with the jaws and index the hole for the pin so that it drops right out as soon as you have enough tension on it. Then release the jaws and the internals slide right out. Reassembly is just as easy, you just index the pin hole horizontally instead so it doesn’t just drop right thru. 2 1 Quote

Milspec Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 Great tool. What kind of steel are they made from? Quote
Nocturnalnature Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 Goodness, I just looked at the link thinking I'd go ahead and pick one up. Am I confusing this with something else or did the price skyrocket? Regardless, nice bit of kit to have. Quote
