  1. I had issues using the FFT Wolff Spring in my 7 round mag tube, even after polishing the tube it still would not launch shells up the ramp and was causing the shells to not exit the tube fast enough and up the carrier far enough that the carrier would hang up. It was frustrating as hell, wasted a bunch of shells trying to trouble shoot the issue. I switched to a Carrier Comp Spring and that completely fixed the issue. Hundreds of shells later and my M4 is running like well.... an Italian made Shotgun. Also of note was that the Carrier Comp Spring is a good bit longer than the factory spring as well as the FFT Spring. The only way I can get 7 rounds in my 7 round tube is to use true 59mm (2-3/4") shells. Most overseas stuff is too long so you will have to settle for 6 in the tube. But I talked to Marcy over at Carrier Comp and they mentioned that you can trim up to 5 coils off their spring and still have a spring that is superior to the factory spring. So just keep that in mind, I ended up leaving mine stock and just noted that if I shoot Federal 00 2-3/4" shells than I can get 7 in the tube, if I run others like Fiocchi, Wolf, etc... then I can get 6. But in my opinion the Carrier Comp Spring is superior to the factory and to the FFT Spring that they have Wolff create for them.

  2. They still have individual boxes available. I just realized I have a nice supply of the 9 pellet version on hand. I bought it back in Spring of 2019. It was like $28.99 for 50 shells! Oh man I wish I could have Peabody set the "Wayback Machine". I'd go back and scoop up a pile of it.

  3. I got some more parts in finally. Optics Planet had sent my Unity Tactical Hot Button via pony express and took a few weeks to come. I found the rail is a nightmare to remove from the gun. You must remove all of your MLOK items before you can slide the rail off of the barrel. So yeah, that's F'ing retarded. Just what you want to do when cleaning your gas system. I don't know what the deal is with these companies making accessories. People would spend big money on these items if they weren't so poorly designed. This rail is also extremely sharp, I paid a blood sacrifice trying to get it off the barrel and split open a finger pretty good. Wire looming is pretty easy if you're willing to modify the rail some. I bored two half inch holes thru the center of the MLOK's near the front end so that I could fish the wire plug thru the rail. This lets me coil up excess wire inside the rail. This wouldn't work on an AR style system since it gets too hot in there, but it should be fine on a Benelli. WIth the nice design of the Unity Tactical Hot Button, you can route your cable thru the bottom of the switch and directly into the rail. This leaves only about an inch of wire exposed leading from the rail to the back of the weapon light. I'm waiting on a different MLOK mount that won't push the light out so far. The Hot Button is my favorite of the tape switch type setups by far since it feels nothing like a tape switch. It's basically an angled momentary/constant on button that you can locate wherever the wire can reach.

  4. I recently installed the Taran Tactical Accuguide Extended Carrier on my M4. The main reason was my damn thumb kept getting caught up in the factory carrier. My thumb is the perfect size apparently, if I'm shoving in two shells and holding my thumb on the rear of the second shell then it fits perfectly behind the little cutout in the factory carrier and as it starts to drop back down it jams my thumb in there pretty good. Plus I generally wear Mechanix Gloves or Magpul Gloves when I shoot and the Mechanix Gloves have a little bit of excess fabric on the thumb and they also kept getting stuck in the factory Carrier. So there wasn't any particular reason other than annoyance that resulted in me swapping the factory carrier. That said the TTI installed in under 5 minutes and has been 100% reliable in feeding and function and has fixed the most annoying feature on my M4. So in my book it was worth the price point, plus it was 20 bucks less than the FFT version and arrived highly polished. I don't see any reason to spend the extra on the FFT version. https://tarantacticalinnovations.com/tti-benelli-accuguide-extended-carrier/

  6. Greetings Took the H2O on its first range day with the 508T. Out the box at 25 meters hitting center mass. The optic is mounted on a scalarworks. Ammo used was Remmington slugger; weapon would not cycle correctly. Switched to Winchester and all was good. Has anyone had problems with the slugger ammo? My 1301 and 1014 eat it up. SF

  7. Took my H20 with my first time ever trial red dot, vortex crossfire, to the range today too. Sighted in at 25 yards and I’m impressed. No problem hitting the center of 2 inch diameter circles when supported. I’ll have to find a place to go further. Was yet another good time with one of sons, and I’m impressed with what I have. I shoot sterling slugs (not sterling tornado) and have never had a problem with them.

  8. Mr. Peabody take me back to the time of cheap and plentiful ammo? I used to love watching Rocky and Bullwinkle?

  9. Both would likely fit, I'm just not sure how a light would work out if you installed it on the IWC mount. The tailcap may interfere with the Truckee rail. If you're not opposed to modifying the rail, you could probably make it work if there was some interference.

  10. Cutting it is no big issue. Just have around 15 inches left over I’m sure it will work fine. You can always replace it when others become available

  11. So, I know this is way late, but I finally got out and shot several slugs through this. It worked amazing. Recoil was reduced by quite a bit. I really liked it. Again, sorry for the late reply... Life happens.

  12. I have the A &S Trigger guard and the FFT speed carrier and it has worked fine. I think other people have mentioned that the polymer trigger guard doesn't work well with after market trigger parts.
