  1. Beautiful. When someone gets them in, please weigh them.

  2. I'm partial to nice wood on a firearm, looks real good. Now get rid of the "space gun" extension and it'll be beautiful. Joe

  3. Although, upon reflection, and I’m just guessing, I suppose it’s possible they intentionally designed the bit to break away if the torque was exceeded - all to prevent from screwing up the aluminum receiver. That would be cool. But I’m betting it was just a crappy bit. lol.

  4. 🤣 aw man that sucks! At least you know it's tight and not going anywhere. Im sure it will pop itself out of there after you put some rounds through it. Looks good!

  5. I bought the fix it sticks (sp?) torque “wrench” and it really does provide peace of mind when messing around with aluminum receivers. Of course, in your example the bit was clearly subpar. But, still! And every Scalarworks product I’ve bought has been top notch.

  6. Thank you for letting me know. I was thinking about buying a whole Turkish shotgun to get the wood furniture off it.

  7. It’s all good. My main question was more so, I tried to fit 7 but only got 6. Is this the consensus across the board? My state isn’t an easy state gun wise so I’m stuck with a 5 round tube unfortunately.

  8. I’ve got two M4s - one I’ve had for 10+ years and one a few months old. I’ve literally done what OP described at least a thousand times with no ill-effect. Works just as well with the new gun. It’s 6 or 7 rounds in an entry gun depending upon the round.

  9. Is there a more proper way to do so? It’s been mentioned tons of times that the m4 was designed to be able to ghost load.
