  1. That's a great answer, except you should have left out the "if" part. I moved from Jersey to SoCal when I retired a little over 3 years ago and got the heck outta SoCal about a year ago, Thank God. Good luck.

  2. Hey just wanted to say Hi. I have been following this forum for many years as I have aspired to own a Benelli for over a decade now. The cost just deterred me for many years. I was in the LGS last week and my buddy told me he had a M4 he ordered 6 months ago show up that he hadn't even put in the system yet. M4's are ultra rare out in the sticks of Virginia. Especially in the midst of a plandemic and election year so I looked at my fiance and she just said "quit talking about it and buy the damn thing". Low and behold I walked out of the store with a much lighter wallet and a grin from ear to ear. I took it out this past weekend and was utterly amazed. I regret waiting so long. I feel the Ithaca 37, Mossberg 500, Browning A5's, and the Remington 11's will sit in the back of the safe for a good while now. To all ya'll on the fence... buy once cry once. I wish i would have bought one of these years ago.

  3. Spin it a few times and feel for how it grabs the bolt. You'll quickly get a feeling for how it works and when to pull it out. Won't take long for it to become second-nature to you! Also, don't be afraid to ask questions. We've got a good group on this forum and are always happy to share our knowledge. Welcome to the board!

  4. The bolt handle has a simple recess that is captured by a spring-loaded ball detent integral to the bolt. Lateral pull will be sufficient to liberated the bolt handle from the bolt. The bolt handle can then be utilized to displace the receiver trigger group retaining pin for field disassembly.

  5. My M4 looks just like any other right now, but the custom case with a benelli flashlight and a interestingly gripped knife with a matching serial number is pretty unique. The only downside is the case is a bit oversized, and the foam isn’t cut in a way that permits adding an RMR, a light, or a stock with an adjustable length of pull so I might have to buy another pelican case.

  6. I have six Milwaukee work benches in my shop currently. Each one has a thick rubberized mat on them. I bolted my new Wilton vise to the wood top to one of them. The main work area gives me a work bench that is 10' x 4' wide. All soft close drawers on these benches. An ultrasonic cleaner is over on one of the back wall benches full of Hoppes #9. I'll be bringing in a blast cabinet in soon. My lathe is out of view in these shots.

  7. I'm in full agreement that as a general rule, there should never be any surprises when you buy something online. But complaining about the variation in packaging is over the top and unreasonable. I've been buying from Benelliparts since about 2014 or 15 with no disappointments and I've purchased at least one of every part he has ever offered for the M4. You should know that in most cases, people are only reacting to how you treat them. Not only was your tone unfair from the first text, you asked him a ridiculous, almost comical question like "Do these two tubes look the same to you?" Uh, yes. Yes they do....how else should he have responded? His reply was friendly in my opinion. You don't call people you truly dislike a big dummy. And not that you ever should, but if you're going to make fun of someone's fluency in a language or writing ability, shouldn't yours be flawless...at least until you're done with that sentence? It's aren't, not arnt. Anything, not any thing. English is spelled with a capital E for Christ's sake. 85% of your sentences would fail a 9th grade English writing assignment. Be critical of anything else, but not English writing.
