I have been lurking and learned a lot since purchasing my M4 a few months ago. Today I installed one of SOCOMguy’s (of this forum) 7 round mag tube today. When I first got a hold of him he had several black ready to roll out the door. I wanted to match my Titanium Cerakote, so he had a custom coating done and the color match is PERFECT. I just wanted to post a few pics so anyone looking at their options can see what it looks like installed.
The install went smooth, thanks to being prepped with information found here. I also added the FFT forends and follower for 922R compliance. I think it took longer to get the FFT forends on than to change the magazine tube (about 20 min.). Then thanks to the instructions on FFT's site, I put the forward ends of the forends in first and installation then went smooth. I think they should put the install tip in the bag with the parts !
The Super Vinci is a great gun, I very much like this gun as well, I noticed very little muzzle rise when shooting this gun. I am delighted that you found a model that fits not only your needs but how the guns fits you.
The Vinci does have a tendency to collect debris and powder on the bolt, you may want to keep this area clean by removing the bolt frequently, anticipated recoil spring life will be about 8 years.
They've been making those for multiple uses so I'm sure it will work as advertised. I prefer QD sling sockets on all of my ARs, shotguns and other rifles. I'd certainly use one of those on my Benelli M4 if I had the collapsible stock.
Second what SD recommended. A PLHv2 in 18650 body length fits awesome on your IWC mount with a 14" barrel. If you're running the factory handguards, the tailcap suggestion is best. If you're running a SF M80 or Agency handguard, then you have some remote switch options i.e. Hot Button, Modbutton Lite, ect. Here's mine with a SF Scout and Modbutton Lite on an M80 rail.
Modlite PLHv2 head on an 18650 body with a Surefire Z68 tailcap. Or buy a Cloud Defensive OWL. Both should fit right on to the IWC mount.
Here are the Modlite lights. The 14” barrel will be ideal and should eliminate barrel shadowing issues.
