    case for M3

Nice job on the case, MuNgEr
  2. Here's a closer look at the light.
  3. You gotta shoot who?

    Pelican makes the good stuff.

    Double B

    You missed a word
  6. I'd be betting that Arizona will not be one of the fifteen. They don't have water in AZ anyway, do they? I mean, not their own water.
  7. They list it as an 8 shot extension. I think they're stating the total capacity after adding the extension.
  8. Careful, Remy. You'll be banished from Duh Fuge ollie, Are you still there, or was this a drive-by? Look, I know what it's like to be on limited funds and to have to save for a long time to get your dream gun. At least, I can remember those days anyway. It's not an easy decision, and you want to make sure it's the right one for you. The Nova is a good pump gun, but I still believe the Remington 870 is the best one out there. I had one for over 25 years, and it never failed me. The Nova may well be as good, but it doesn't have the history, nor does it have the loyal following that the 870 enjoys. At least not yet, it doesn't. I had a Nova briefly, and found no problems with the weapon. It handled nicely and it never failed me in its short tenure with me, but I decided to step up to the SBEII and stop shucking them out manually. If you're not completely committed to a pumper, and the SBE and M2 are out of reach, then give some serious thought towards the Beretta 390 line. 9. In case anyone was wondering, the four stooges who voted no are: Jeff Flake ® - AZ Trent Franks ® - AZ Connie Mack ® - FL Tom Tancredo ® - CO Apparently, the bill contained no pork their states and was thus of no use to them. My state had a co-sponsor [ 08-03-2006, 11:40 AM: Message edited by: tucker301 ]
  10. It's good to see the government actually do something right for a change! Nothing worse than waiting in line at the post office.
  11. No protocols violated, but your price is absurd. I'd be willing to let it go at that price too. http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=53588347 http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=53587580 http://www.impactguns.com/store/benelli_nova_pump.html
  12. How about 18.5"? Click
  13. Ebay's full of them. Same tube as M series. 150018069688 is one, for example.
  14. Don't they have standard Picatinny style mounts that slide on/off? Maybe something like this one? http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=810732
  15. Quoting page 31 of the manual, "The type of action on which the M3 SUPER 90 shotgun operates can be selected according to the ammunition being used. The mode of operation can be shifted from manual (pump-action) to semi-automatic instantaneously, without having to effect any adjustments, by simply turning the selection ring mounted on the front of the fore-end lever." This function is all clearly covered in pages 31 through 37 . I don't know how anyone could explain it any better to you. You may also want to make sure that you program in the fact that the bolt will stay opened after the last round is fired (if your video game weapon ever runs out of ammo), and the bolt must then be released by depressing the button on the side of the receiver. Your scientist/mercenary guy will probably also want to drop a live round into the chamber before he pushes the button. Otherwise, the mutant honey bee that looks like a peach with three heads may get him.
  16. Yup, They were on Realtree Outdoors last week and they were all sporting Benellis.
  17. Currently: Trigger is in Colorado being reworked by a young genius named Bill Springfield. He can turn a factory set into a near match grade set for about $28. Barrel and handguard are at my office, which happens to be shared with a machine shop. I'm going to trim the barrel length to 20" from 24" and turn the girth down to .75 from .93. We may also add fluting just for kicks.
  18. The manual should cover anything you want to know. It's available in the support section of the Benelli Italy website. http://www.benelli.it/index.asp?Lan=EN

    Chokes

nodark, you are correct. I sure as heck wouldn't want to push them through a turkey choke.
  20. Remove trigger group. Tap out the retaining pin. Remove the spring and detent. Replace safety and put everything back in reverse order. The spring and detent are acccessible from the topside of the trigger group, so it's no trobule to get to them at all. Just make sure you've got the spring hole covered with your finger when the pin comes out, to keep it from flying away on you.
  21. Troublemaker! I know you've got a Xtrema ordered anyway
  22. To be honest, I think a standard SBEII with a SIMS pad will reduce felt recoil as well as, if not moreso than a Comfortech. http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=53249398
  23. sagrousedog, I believe that the same oversize safety that fits the M1 will also work on the M2. Check to see if your M1 safety will fit the M2 and go from there. Egun Parts Oversize Safety
  24. Yup. I learned a long time ago that the old ***/u/me adage applies here with a vengeance
  25. MJ, DO NOT shoot that weapon until you are sure that it is assembled correctly and functioning correctly! One of the reasons I suggested that re-check everything is that I suspected that the firearm may not be properly or completely assembled. Your relative novice and the fact that it does not function led me to this conclusion, so please make sure that you have followed all instructions completely before firing the gun. Gixerman1000, Telling a novice, who is having problems getting a new weapon to function properly, to go ahead and shoot it is wreckless and dangerous. He needs to fully undertsnad how the weapon is assembled and how it is supposed to gunction BEFORE attempting to fire it. If he can't get it to cycle properly, then he should seek help, NOT just shoot it.
