  1. jakjakman, Looking a bit further, it appears that the BBC is streaming the matches online, but only to UK browsers. I haven't tried it, but you could probably wiggle around that by using a UK based proxy server. Google free proxy servers if you want to go that far with it.
  2. Try some of these. http://tv4all.com/portal.htm There's gotta be one in there somewhere. Start with Germany. CAUTION.. or heads up, depending on how look at it, one of those German stations switches over to nekked folks late at night (their time).
  3. I just spent my last day on the Refuge Forums yesterday. In general, not a bad place, but there were some issues that didn't set well with me, so I left the joint. I won't drag the skirmish over here. That's not my reason for this post. My reason for this post is to thank the Benelli companies for providing these forums and to especially thank them for their general hands-off attitude towards our discussions. It's pretty amazing that someone can recommend to another member that they consider buying another brand of shotgun on here, without the post being deleted and the member being tossed for treason. I think the folks at Benelli understand that when people are allowed to speak freely, they tend to speak their true thoughts. When customers and potential customers speak their minds, the company can do nothing but reap great benefits. Unsolicited, and unfiltered comments about Benelli and competitor's products allow them to keep their hand on the pulse of the shotgunning buying public. Kudos and THANKS to all who make this little place a pleasant place for intelligent folks to exchange information. PS: We're still going to kick your azz in the WC
  4. Gentlemen, We don't bump. On the whole, the users here are smart enough to find their way back to threads in which they have an interest.

    Rifled barrel

dandy, back it up about three inches and give it firm snap forwards. It will clear the ring and come right off. As for the bolt handle, it will come out much more easily after you remove the forearm and the bolt group from the weapon.
  6. No, I'm not serious. Just tired of seeing, "I paid xxx for this gun and it won't xxxx". Did you try the trigger before you bought the gun? Benelli shotguns have somewhat heavy triggers, but they are shotguns, not rifles. I've never had trigger pull throw me off target with a shotgun, but I've been shooting them for 35 years, so maybe I'm just used to them. Yes, I believe the triggers can be professionally worked and improved to suit your needs. I'll never have mine done, because I can turkey hunt with it without any complaints.

  9. No. We all returned our guns and bought Mossbergs. Their triggers are awesome.

  11. Apparently, they want to get serious about taking some resident Canadas out of the states. Mind you, these are only reccomendations, and the states still have their own say about what the actual regulations will be. 4. Canada Geese A. Special Seasons Council Recommendations: The Atlantic Flyway Council made several recommendations dealing with early Canada goose seasons. First, the Council recommended that the Service allow the use of special regulations (electronic calls, unplugged guns, extended hunting hours) later than September 15 during existing September Canada goose hunting seasons in Atlantic Flyway States. Use of these special regulations would be limited to the geographic areas of States that were open to hunting and under existing September season ending dates as approved by the Service for the 2006 regulation cycle. This regulation would take effect as soon as the final rule on resident Canada goose management is effective. Second, the Council recommended increasing the Atlantic Flyway’s September Canada goose hunting season daily bag limit to 15 geese, with a possession limit of 30 geese, beginning with the 2006–07 hunting season. Lastly, the Council recommended allowing Maryland to modify the boundary of their Early Resident Canada Goose Western Zone. Hunting resident Canadas with plug out and with the use of electronic calls and a bag limit of 15 The Full Report
  12. I have a couple of customers who use satellite Internet with a fairly new outfit called, WildBlue. http://www.wildblue.com/ The costs are considerably less than Direcway and Starband, and the speeds are very good. I agree about living in the country. I'm looking, but haven't found my paradise yet.

    Yes.
  18. wingbone, consider signing up for a free image hosting account at hunt101 or someplace similar. MSN wants us to sign up for a dot net passport just to see your picture.

  20. Take it back to the dealer, if that's possible. If it's not possible, then search these forums for "stuck choke". There have been several posts here regarding the removal of stuck tubes.
  21. To be honest, I thought the wind had me on a couple of them, but I just watched, felt the wind speed, and watched the trees. Some of the shots were fired holding six inches left and others were fired holding 2 inches left. I've always had a bit of a knack for reading the wind and making the right adjustments. I guess that has something to do with that box full of trophies in the attic. Oops.. bragging again. Sorry, Junior

  23. The funny thing is, we ride around looking for groundhogs in bean fields. When I see one that's under 200 yards, I like to look around and see if I can find a vantage point that's farther away to make it more interesting.
  24. With a group like that, I could knock a robin off a fencepost at 500 pretty easily
  25. Of course you can!
