  1. The SBEI is the clear choice.
  2. I'll bet some ebay bidders would love to know about them
  3. Wallhanger may be able to confirm this, and I'm guessing, but I believe the design allows for gas to be vented from the tube. Otherwise, the piston that pushes the spring back could compress the air in the tube and affect the operation. /cancel that - I see the hole now [ 05-21-2006, 10:52 AM: Message edited by: tucker301 ]
  4. Here's a picture of the plastic insert. If you heat this with a flame, it will melt. It would probably be OK to submerge the end of the tube in boiling water, but there's no loctite present. Mine was REALLY tight when I first removed it. I clamped the receiver in a padded vise to get it.
  5. That one's been done several times here. Do a search for "M2 SBEII", or click here.
  6. Amazing! I could get a local machinist to make me one for less than that.
  7. +1 on mudhen's comments. There is no loctite.
  8. PS: Let me know if you want to see a specific video and I'll rip it from the DVD and post it for you.
  9. 1. Make sure that the plug-in is installed. Assuming you're using Internet Explorer, click Tools> Manage Add-on on the IE toolbar. "Shockwave Flash Object" should be listed and enabled. 2. Make sure that IE isn't blocking the ActiveX control. Look for a yellow information bar at the bottom of the IE toolbar when you visit the site. The bar will inform you that the site wants to install an ActiveX control. Click the bar to install the control. 3. Other programs or security settings may be restricting flash. This could be in Internet Explorer's security settings or there could be a thrid party program blcoking animations or flash content. 4. Test the flash plug-in. http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/ 5. Try Firefox Browser
  10. Already got one. Prices are decent though.
  11. Michael Mann, the director, did the tv show as well. [ 05-17-2006, 08:44 PM: Message edited by: tucker301 ]
  12. I wouldn't really call that arrogance. It's more scathing sarcasm. At least that's my read. Arrogance would be more along the lines of some noob coming in and calling long-time members names when they really don't have a clue what they're talking about.
  13. d&t = drilled and tapped
  14. I'm glad I'd already finished my wine. Otherwise, it would have shot out of nose on that one
  15. Yeah, mudhen. Why no link to the high comb?!
  16. This one's all itchy and anxious, ain't he? 25 minutes.... Why has no one answered?! [ 05-10-2006, 04:37 PM: Message edited by: tucker301 ]
  17. If you've disassembled the bolt group, you should have noticed that the spring fits inside the bolt housing loosely. Therefore, it will move when the gun is moved up and down.
  18. Considering I'm 46, and have been through Hellnback in the last year, I thought I looked pretty good. /just need some legs now
  19. Ahhhh.... Now that makes sense. As far as I know, all human cases have been with people who are heavily exposed to infected poultry. [ 05-09-2006, 11:33 AM: Message edited by: tucker301 ]
  20. Well, either DU or WHO is lying. http://gamapserver.who.int/mapLibrary/Files/Maps/Global_H5N1inHumanCUMULATIVE_20060427.png http://gamapserver.who.int/mapLibrary/Files/Maps/Global_H5N1inHumanSINCE2006_20060427.png
  21. I've been thinking about this stuff since I saw that link. I researched a bit further and found that ducks and most other birds do indeed see colors in the UV bands. Let's go a bit further with that. If they see in the UV wavelengths, then anything we wear or have with us that's treated for UV protection must reflet UV light and make it look likes it's in the spotlight to the birds. So, here I am in my shadowgrass camo parka, hiding out in my camoed boat with my camoed pop-up blind, all treated to resist fading from UV... thinking I'm in stealth mode, when in reality the ducks are looking at me like I'm a Roman friggin candle [ 05-08-2006, 02:51 PM: Message edited by: tucker301 ]
  22. I like the Rhino for turkeys and the Primos Dead Zone for ducks and geese.
  23. Wow! You can buy/sell sex on there, but not a gun? I listed my R1 there a few days ago and had some responses, but nothing negative. I've got it on gunbroker and GA now. I'm itching for that Panther
