Yep, both glitches are fixed. Big Brother IS watching

Where exactly were you?

Historical data can be obtained from a number of sources, but I imagine you're going to want to have a RADAR image from your location at the time of the infraction. Judges sometimes aren't the brightest pennies in the jar, and a picture may be more effective than printed data. For that, you're probably going to have to pay for it. Check with local tv stations first as they may move more efficiently than government agencies. If you do have to use a government agency, start here http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/oa/ncdc.html Also see http://climate.umn.edu/hidradius/legal_resources.htm Another method would be to obtain historical data recorded by amatuer meteorologists in the area of the incident. Advanced home weather stations record rainfall, temperature, pressure, etc. every thirty minutes or so. You can find local stations on Weather Underground's Website Find a reporting station near the location of your incident and print out that date's data, which should show how much rain fell in the half hour that you were pulled. And I just found a glitch. At least in my IE6. Go to the Benelli Afield section and click any name. Click Next, and the window closes gone. Does the same thing in Firefox.

Looks great! AND..... the manuals are now on the US site! Finally, I don't have to post that dammed Italian site link anymore

Hevi-shot, the company, recommends .665 and up. So you're good to go.
-
None at all, unless you want to mount optics. In that case you can have yours drilled and tapped as needed.
-
Next time, try coughing uncontrolably and muttering something about being REALLY sick

One footnote to the otherwise excellent advice given by remarkable. Your M2 should be a newer model that has a nylon retaining washer in the nut on the recoil tube. There is no loctite, and heat may damage the washer. This will be clearly illustrated in your owner's manual.

Cool site! I didn't know I could do that. Rushing home right now to try it out!

Read the section in the manual regarding the stock shims and cast on/off. Try different setups until you get what you want. If you're shooting high, I believe you want to lower the drop at comb using a lower lettered shim. If you shoot right-handed, you should shoot cast-off. That's the way the gun should be set up from the factory if it's right-handed. If you're a LH shooter, the cast should be on. I shoot LH, but set my cast to off (typically for RH shooters) because I've shot RH guns for so long that I can't get used to anything else.

Mini 14. Best - ranch - rifle.

A Stoeger 3.5" will still be a Stoeger, and therefore will pose no threat to Benelli or Beretta... or Remchester for that matter.

I'll light a candle. Just the obvious ones... *Canada Geese *hiccup *won't

Why not just look at the pictures? http://www.benelliusa.com/firearms/turkey.tpl

Screwed on, but has loctite on it. Stick it under hot water for about 30 seconds and then try it.

I used a M1/M3 Pistol grip on mine. Bought it from another board member, but they're pretty easy to find elsewhere (ebay, gunbroker, etc.) Just finished the mod this evening. Drilled a hole for the upper shim stud and fabbed an insert for the slot, since I didn't get one with it. Brownell's probably has the OEM inserts though. I'll probably order a limbsaver to finish it off. That Benelli pad seems awful stiff for 3.5's. It's not a pefect fit (note slight gap behind trigger guard), but the turkeys won't mind [ 03-27-2006, 09:25 PM: Message edited by: tucker301 ]

Don't post Benelli employees' email addresses to this or any other web forum. I'm sure they don't need any more SPAM. Please edit the above post and remove address. Use PM to send it to him.

Everyone doesn't get deer at 30 ft. on a regular basis, but if that's the way it works for you then you have no use for a scope. For slug shots over 20 yards, I recommend a scope.

If you found a factory gun with a 4.5 lb trigger, I'd say Benelli has done quite a bit to improve the factory weight. Mine was more like 7-8 lbs.
