^^ I'm looking to do a project and need an extra set of handguards, because I don't know if it is going to turn out well and I don't want to ruin my only pair. I know a lot of people have put rails on their m4s, so they likely have a set of plastic handguards lying around that they never plan on using ... so why not sell them to good old Duggan for a few bucks? Message me with your asking price, name, social security number, blood type, etc. PS - Handguard donations also accepted

I've actually never watched the movie in full, upon skimming through it I didn't think it worthy of a "sit down and watch" movie ... perhaps I was wrong. I know it's a cult favorite, and it was funny from what I saw, I just watched it in my normal fashion (skip from scene to scene, watch entire movies in 20 mins or so). H&K ... not so sure about them being the "greatest ever", but the UMP and MP5SD I shot were fun ... And America, well, **** YEA!

How many rounds are through the gun? Is it has less than 200 rounds through it, go out and shoot it some more. Some, about half it seems, m4s have problems running light stuff in the first few hundred rounds. Mine did. After the break-in, 99% of cases seem to go away ... If the gun has considerable rounds through it then the break in is not the culprit, clean the heck out of the gas pistons and bolt carrier, and then use a LOT of lube on the bolt carrier and the bolt carrier rails. Do more shooting, report back. Also, you didn't specify what type of "jams" you experienced. That will change the diagnosis perhaps.

My previous endorsement for KG industries products remains, however I recently picked up a jug of CARBON KILLER to try ... I haven't used it yet, as sadly it has been a month or so since I have been shooting and all my guns are clean

Well, that technically should not be possible, even if they ARE made ... when Benelli stopped importing them for civilians, the m4 was available in black only I beleive ... So even if they DO now make a factory desert stock, it would be a "leo only item", which would just mean it would cost more to get in the black market.

It most definitely does. This was technically a repainted one ... http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=129714542

99% of the gun is over engineered and built like a tank. It has no real maintenance requirements ... I am at 12,500+ rounds with one replacement part (I tore an O right during cleaning by being rammy). I would not be surprised if I get to 20k without any replacement parts. It is extremely reliable and fast, yet soft recoiling ... and I like the ergonomics of it, though I feel the stock LOP is a bit long. Holds 9 rounds. It's just an incredibly solid gun and one that was built by people who clearly knew what they were doing. I am consistently surprised as I clean or examine parts of this gun on just exactly HOW MUCH engineering must have gone into this gun ...

Majority of voters have problems yet none have been stated ... hmmm ...

Does your gun have a loud safety that scares away game? How does the stock come off, I took the rubber buttpad off and it still won't budge! Why is Obama killing America? Does this skirt make my ass look fat?

Ok, that means either your shells are out of spec (too long) or your extension is not long enough. Try another brand of shells, and post a picture of your extension. Also, try the OEM spring just for kicks.

Ok, I look forward to seeing the results of your frankenmod then! Nice truck, you nutcase!

Odd. Maybe someone accidentally loaded one of the new M438 tungsten railgun rounds I read about in this months Shotgun News ... that would probably do it. ETA - I feel the need to post this in honor of bad guys flying backwords from the sheer force of being shot ...

Respectfully, I think you're ******* nuts. You're buying a ton of replacement parts and adding unnecessary weight (and a big long out of spec rail) just for the sake of wiring a tape switch to your fire control hand ... a hand that should always stay with a firm grip in the weapon, with a finger on or near fire control ... I don't think you will have much luck trying to manipulate a tape switch somehow with that hand, which also gripping the gun and being able to manipulate the trigger as you wish ... I see lots of accidental light discharges and lots of headaches. I think you would be much better off leaving out the tape switch idea all together and going with a push button, offset, support side mounted light. The thumb of your support hand activates and manipulates the light, it allows for temporary or sustained "click on" lighting, and it doesn't alter your grip at all. If you have to reload, click the light on if you want while loading ... Imagine this, changed up to way that would work with you ... (this is how my MRP was set up over the winter, it's a bit different now, but my camera is in my car). ^^^^Something like that, but without a VFG in the way ... I was trying a strange grip when I had my gun set up like that. Now, I have 4 XTM rail panels on all 3 sides, and the mount/surefire on the very front of the rail, support hand side. It works amazingly well. It's obviously your gun and you can do what you want with it, it just seems like a bad idea to me and I think you will have a case of buyers regret if you go through with it.

Not just the choke, but the entire front end of the weapon blows off in the intruders face. For maximum terminal effectiveness, it is also advisable to use a 10 gauge shell in a 12 gauge chamber, this way the maximum amount of the barrel is sent flying forward at the perp.

So, you're gonna be a big fan of the muzzle brake and 8th round extension nut huh?

Nice. Once again, excellent work Kip.

I hate tape switches, I much prefer push button on/off/temp switches and offset mounts ... bad picture, but you get the idea.

Tighter is always better ... in my somewhat humble opinion.
