  1. Ah, well that's bad management on their part. I hate dealing with sales people that clearly know less about the products they sell than I do. Hope you can get this straightened out.
  2. I've solved your problem. http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15841
  3. Ok. Not to insult you, but you're being quite foolish. You bought this product: http://www.cactustactical.com/osc/product_info.php?cPath=412_458&products_id=1224 This product is clearly marketed for the NOVA, not the supernova tactical. To take this further, lets look at your gun, compared to the gun this was designed for... This is your gun, the supernova tactical: http://www.benelliusa.com/firearms/large/novaTacticalSynthetic12Ga.jpg This is the regular nova: http://www.benelliusa.com/firearms/large/novaTimber12Ga.jpg Look at the difference in available space under the barrel beyond where the stock magazine ends. Do you see the problem? Heres how the extension is supposed to look: http://www.cactustactical.com/osc/images/shotgun_parts.jpg The extension you bought is too long for your gun because it wasn't designed or meant to go on your gun. Notice how they sell a +4 as well? That should bring the extension up the end of the REGULAR nova, but it would fit even worse on your gun. The fault is entirely yours, not nordic components, not cactus tacticals. You bought the wrong product. Live and learn I suppose. Pay more attention to details in the future and this won't happen.
  4. Either will work.
  5. blasphemy!

  7. I dunno man. I've never bought anything from B&T for lots of reasons, so I have no real experience with them. Do they not use standard rails? It wouldn't surprise me.
  8. I have the same mount, but its not on my benelli. Your picture looks odd ... the flat part that the lever turns is supposed to be fully under the rail to support it, and the inverse rail bumpout on the bottom is supposed to be in between the middle of your bt rail, not at the end of it ... Hard to tell with those pics. It should be mounted with the larue mounts tooth bumpout on the bottom in the middle of the rail, so that the lever grips fully ... it looks like you have it hanging off the end. It should be rock solid. If it wiggles even a little bit, you did it wrong.

Exactly my thoughts. What's the point in having something nice if you're not gonna use it? Just take good care of your gun and it will retain its value. If someone is looking for a m4cqb barrel, I highly doubt they are going to turn down a deal because you have a few hundred rounds through it. I don't think anyone has shot out an m4 barrel to the point of requiring a new one yet so I wouldn't worry about it. Just obviously dont let it rust, or get super deep scratches, or anything. I've had my m4 for ... wow 3 years I think now, have put many thousands of rounds through it, have beat the **** out of it from hard use, and just from proper cleaning and metal care products it looks as perfect as the day I got it, save for some of the black anodizing that has come off of the chamber due to friction with the bolt carrier group. If I have time I may make a post on what m4 internals look like as they age, it's really kind of surprising how well they hold up. But yea, I'd say certainly don't be afraid to shoot it. The value of that gun is in it's rare nature ... being new in box, or slightly used, doesn't make it any less rare. Guns are a commodity, sure, but they're a whole lot more fun if you use them while you hold onto them

If you post a bunch of pictures, we can give you a more precise answer
  11. What do you offer in the way of trigger jobs for the m4? I don't expect my m4 trigger to break like the geiselle in my rifle, but I've found the m4 trigger to be beyond terrible. It wobbles back and forth, has a huge creep, and in general is just a letdown when you consider how great the rest of the gun is. Obviously, a trigger job for a combat shotgun still needs to be rugged enough to withstand some pretty heavy hits ...
  12. If it's a 11707, you should be good to go from the box. Pop the barrel and trigger group out, twist off your stock, and check it for yourself. edit: I'd advise against the camo though ...
  13. http://www.stormcase.com/StormSizeList.htm Pelican cases are good, storm cases are amazing. I'd highly suggest you check them out to see the difference for yourself.
  14. http://stores.homestead.com/Laruetactical/Detail.bok?no=117 larue scout light mount. I bought one about a month ago when I replaced the tail cap on my scout light. It's like every other larue product ... outstanding. Other light mounts ... http://stores.homestead.com/Laruetactical/Categories.bok?category=Light+%2F+Laser+Mounts The best money can buy really.
  15. +1 larue. I just got mine. It's sick. I've had 2 tangodowns prior to buying the larue.
  16. When you take the mag tube cap off, your barrel should literally slide, even fall, right out of the receiver with little to no resistance. The handguards should fall right off as soon as the barrel is an inch of so out. I dunno why it would be hard for you to take it out. It's the easiest part of the disassembly.
  17. Glad you figured it out. I'm told I have an astigmatism as well, although I've never had any problems of that type. I don't know why I was diagnosed with one honestly. I've never had glasses, and just recently had my first eye exam, as my eyes are fading a little bit. How you liking it so far? or have you gotten to use yet?
  18. 50 yards max for a shotgun. Slugs off the bench is correct. While not made for wing shooting, it's fun to do, and very effective once you get the hang of it. Hope you like it
  19. Cool, another source.
  20. I wonder what this would be for ...
  21. Short answer: No Long answer: Yes The search function will link you to literally hundreds of threads on this issue. like this one: http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13576&highlight=legal+stock You'll find many people practice "civil disobedience" on this matter.
  22. Well, they weren't around a year or so ago when I stopped frequenting these forums. I don't know an exact date.
  23. The eotech cheek weld is perfect imo with a full stock. With the stock in the middle setting, where I normally keep mine, it is a little low. Getting a larue mount eliminates this.
  24. 60 days? What is 60 days?
  25. I have never used anything looser than a full choke on my m4, and I've shot thousands of 00/000 through it by now. No damage. PS - I see a recurring theme in your posts ... don't worry so much about your M4. You'll find it's pretty damn rugged, and you really don't need to baby it.
