I shot one with #7 shot from 75 feet away a few days ago. I came to the top of the sand pits we always shoot at, and there were a few running up the left side of the pit. Needless to say, it didn't drop. Which was my intention, since I have no permit. I just wanted to see it freak out when it was hit with a few grains of sand.

Interesting. I had a similar experience, but with the dealer, not the factory. I asked the dealer about the other 2, and he said he didn't know what the deal was, but that he would find some and give them to me for free if I wanted. I had 2 more chokes a few days later.

M4 uses a gas system. And I'd check to see if the stock actually collapses. Some have the skeleton stock, but don't collapse. If it collapses, it is a good price. And see if it is a 11707

Federal Tactical Low Recoil Buck is the best I've used http://www.ammoman.com/webstore_12GA.htm And I always keep a full choke in my m4 ... I'm used to rifle rounds and precision shooting, so I try to keep my patterns as tight as possible, to get that extra bit of distance and density. But you'll get many different answers to that question.

Heh, my .02 ... Aimpoints are terrible, and there is no reason to have 4x scope on a 18.5 inch combat shotgun. I use an eotech with my m4, and it works ridiculously well.

Aha, look at that cute little hand shrapnel cannon. So I'm allowed to have AOW's and LBDD's eh? Kind of limits my options, as I don't think many things are classified as AOW besides some short shotguns. And LBDD's ... He definitely built that, or had someone build it for him. LMT crane stock, tangodown battlegrip and foregrip, aimpoint with forward cantilever mount, KNS non rotating trigger pins, and what appears to be a larue 7 inch rail and an AAC ranger can. I'm guessing around 2100 into it thus far.

I don't beleive NY allows any class 3 weapons for civilian ownship ... Is there a site that shows a breakdown by state? I know I can't possess silencers from that thing on AAC's site ... http://www.advanced-armament.com/owners.asp But other things, I'm not sure. Doubtful though.

I can't speak for anyone else, but ... I have invested many thousands into tactical guns so that I can quickly and properly neutralize the "enemy" when/if it becomes necessary. Nothing more, nothing less. It seems to be a mindset people either get instinctively or are completely baffled by. All of my guns are made to be capable of serving a definite purpose ... every upgrade I do to them makes them more mission capable, more reliable, more repeatable, and ultimately more deadly. Plus it's just sooo much more fun and interesting to use militaresque guns than "normal" types. For me, anyways.

The nodaks are much deeper, richer black than the finish on the m4. I don't mind though, I think it looks badass.
