What are the advantages/disadvantages of a long barrel rifle, say 26 inches. And what are the advantages/disadvantages of a short barrel rifle, say 20-22 inches?

I shot an SEB II with Comfortech and a nova without comfortech. Unless I was holding the gun wrong when I shot it, I thought the SBE kicked harder then my nova, using the same exact round. I do like the gel pad for the cheek though, I've been slapped in the face with a 10 gauge browning with the hardwood stock, and it ain't pleasant.

Is a mag extension for the M4 considered an added US part? If you put one on does that take one off of the parts count list?

I'll back that Tuck, look at the Remington for example. And Tuck, the reason they don't buy a US made shotgun, is because they don't make the Kick A** M4 here.

How old is she? Do you know what kind of recoil she can take?

Thanks Webfoot, I know what you mean by Parvo, my mom has seen a couple dogs die from it and a couple go through **** to live through it. I get my shots at cost, which is less then a quarter of the cost of the shot if my mom wasn't working at the vet. He is getting neutered next week, and he has had his first parvo vaccination, he gets his next parvo set next month. He is already a great dog, took to potty training extremely well, and he is attacking the wing on a string really well, which I was told was a great sign.

Mud, what do you do for a living? That would be nice to be able to do all that just for turkeys. Of course I'd spend it all on waterfowl.

He is just a pup so I am keeping him inside for now, I don't know if he will be an outside dog or not, I'll see what my uncle has to say, his labs were outside dogs mostly.

I have handled both, and I have to say I love the cordoba, and the M2 is alright. Like Full bore said, let her handle both and let her pick it out. It would be easier for everyone.

Very observant of you, but I have that chained fixed so that it cannot constrict. If he catches it on something it will be as bad a normal collar. I had to put it on him to get him used to it, otherwise he just fights it.

I'm really not a fan of e-collars, and I would rather not use them, but we'll see what my uncle has to say, he is a great dog trainer.
