  1. Well, he is really turning out well. He has kennel and heel down pat. I'm working on sitting right know and he is doing great. 2 days and he does it most of the time. He knows "leave it" too. Today I got him to retrieve a bumper 10 times, bring it all the way back to me, and leave it on command. I've only had him few weeks and I've been working him a little in the morning and a little at night. Heres a few of him, and one of me and him.
  2. If I buy a gun from a local guy out of the paper, I don't tell anyone. Its none of their business. Criminals will get their guns one way or another, I wouldn't worry to much about them getting something from a gun shop, might be better than them getting a full auto AK-47 with depleted uranium shells from a drug dealer or something. You gunna use your SBE against him? Nope, just making it a little harder to do so, and a little step further in gun control. I know what you're talking about Colt.
  3. Care to comment on this one Hog? West, my nova does the same thing, you have to slap that trigger for it to go off, or if you are turkey hunting then yes a firm squeeze. I do not believe it is adjustable, but I have noticed many other guns aren't that way.
  4. What do you guys think of him? Good, bad, would you vote for him. He's not running for president yet but a bunch of people are trying to draft him in. Just curious as to what you all think of him.
  5. Exactly my point. Thanks Tuck and STA.
  6. Yep, the dove hunting in Argentina is something else. Haven't been there, but I've read a ton about it, talked to a few people that have been there. They shoot an average of 2000 rounds a day at doves and pigeons. They recommend you bring 10000 rounds minimum for a week long trip.
  7. As is mine, I'd rather not see someone being rude to someone else while reading it. All I stated was Hog could be a little nicer. It was my mistake not seeing that he copied and pasted, I got that part. Truthfully, that wasn't quite a rude comment IMO, but it was to the guy who posted, and Hog drove him off. Maybe oldman needs to grow some thicker skin? Had I posted I would have said, "Sorry, I don't know the problem, call customer service, they can help you out." Instead of posting something in CAPS, which signifies that you are YELLING at someone.
  8. It may be no big deal mud, but you are giving in to their control. I don't think any gun should have to be registered any time. It really doesn't have to do with the NRA, its the politicians we need to worry about, we have to vote in the right people if we want to keep our guns.
  9. I think he mean't what model of choke tube, Invector, invector plus, benelli crio plus, benelli/beretta, ect.
  10. Didn't have a problem with his advice, I had a problem with how he presented it. POSTING LIKE THIS IS LIKE TELLING SOMEONE TO F OFF IMO!!!!!! Now I do apologize because I did not know the the original THE FORUMS ARE NOT A CONDUIT TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. ALL CUSTOMER SERVICE QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE VIA PHONE OR EMAIL (301-283-6981). DO NOT POST CUSTOMER SERVICE QUESTIONS IN THE FORUMS. Was written in bold. He just copied and pasted it. But its like all of his other posts, so I figured it was HIM BEING THE ARSE.
  11. Well, tell that to everyone one with a gun question, this is the first guy you have bashed this way, and not everyone on here is on all the time, might take a little while to get back to the guy. And if you were to say "call customer service, they can help you out" then to be an arse like you are most of the time, I wouldn't have said anything. Stop taking meth and BE A LITTLE NICER, you seem to contibute very little to this forum and cause more trouble then you do help people.
  12. Hog, Q like this are asked ALL THE TIME ON HERE. It could be a simple fix, just some lube or maybe a bit of trimming with a file. Tell that to everyone who asks anything about their gun on here, how many Q do we get about the SBE II?
  13. Thats the main reason I asked why you wanted it so short, kills velocity and who knows what else. I don't like my barrels less then 20, but I could live with the M4 18.5.
  14. A poor grip would do it, a thick glove should fix it though.
  15. The stoeger is made by benelli, but the quality isn't even half of the benellis.
  16. Been into them since I was born. Love em. I've got no problem with what you guys are doing either, but if I bought an M4, I wouldn't cut anything off of it. I love the way they look. Its cool what you guys are doing, making it more tactical and stuff.
  17. Personally, instead of going through all the trouble with the cutting, converting whatever. I'd be very confident with a 45 pistol that I know how to shoot against another guy with a shotgun. I personally don't think a few inches will change anything with the gun, 12 inch barrel or 18.5, makes no difference to me. You guys feel like doing it, have fun. I was just curious as to why, but now I know.
  18. Are you talking about the beretta diamond pigeon? Or the Charles Daly diamond O/U?
  19. I saw it in a Cabelas catalog a few years ago, I don't know if they still make/sell it.
  20. Whats funny too, is that he doesn't know I know more about guns then any of the staff at Scheels. My dad was standing right there, but he didn't say anything to back me up cause he doesn't know anything about them either.
  21. They ahve an 11 round drum you can get for shotguns. And what difference is 4" less going to make?
  22. First we have people trying to figure out how to make it legal to put a full length mag tube with a collabsible, pistol grip stock, now we have people trying to figure out how to make the same gun smaller. So it will hold less, have less velocity, and you'll have to register it as an SBS. Why not get a 45 semi-auto pistol for really close quarters, and keep your M4 the way it is? It would cost less to get the 45 then to get 2 barrels, one cut and resighted, plus the registry. Just my .02
  23. Benelli doesn't make over unders or side by side shotguns do they? I was in Scheels today and while I was looking at some benellis, this dude was asking where the benellis were, I told him "right here" he said "the over unders"? And I said "they don't make over unders" He walked off and kept looking like I didn't know what I was talking about. I couldn't find any on the site, and I've never heard of one, so I figured they don't make any. And no, he wasn't mistaking benelli for beretta.
  24. I was looking at some high end target rifles, they had 26 inch bull barrels. The normal rifle has a 22" barrel, figured the longer the barrel, the more accurate, to a certain point. Just wanted to be sure. Thanks
  25. So a longer barrel would be a little more acurate and a little faster?
