  1. Which Trijicon is that? How do you like it so far? Trying to decide on whether to go with an Aimpoint T1 or something different.
  2. You probably already saw my thread; http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25560 8 seemed like even more weight to me than necessary to add.
  3. I don't own a scale, but I'd guess: M4 = 7.8 lbs give or take Kip tube = less than stock Sidearmor rail and shell holder = 1.7 lbs So probably 9 whopping lbs max. Not sure about weight of the factory stock vs. Urbino. This weighs less than an ak47, I believe, and skinny people have been using them for 50 years.
  4. Yeah, it's not like it's m249/SAW heavy or something.
  5. Extremely well made. Seems like a very solid platform. I had the KZ rail before, and chose not to keep it because I didn't need a bottom rail, and the diameter was a little too large for my hand. I understand that lighter is better in many's minds, but if I'm trekking I'd use my VTAC sling. If I was after something really light, I probably wouldn't go for the m4 in the first place.
  6. Did you buy a Benelli m4 because of its light weight?
  7. Mod list in my signature, below. Still haven't pulled the trigger on the Aimpoint T1 yet, though I'm sure that will happen sometime soon. Now if only there were a place near Orange County, CA to shoot the damn thing ....
  8. I just got a padded VTAC. Seems decent to me.
  9. Given the cost of OEM Benelli parts, you'd probably be better off buying another supernova and use it for parts if ever necessary.
  10. After some deliberation, I agree. I actually decided not to swap out the stock Benelli grip for the Mesa one after all.

    rebates

My problem with the rebates is they affect the price of pre-owned guns.
  12. OK, I found a picture here that I had remembered seeing a while back. My understanding is this rail clamp was also made by Sidearmor 6 years ago or so ... I imagine the new one would be similar, perhaps with spec rails.
  13. You can have mine for $25 shipped in the US. Gun's never been fired, so it's like new.
  14. I remember one from years ago like you described--more like a barrel clamp of sorts?
  15. It doesn't look like the Sidearmor v1 to me The rail, guys, the rail!
  16. Why not skip it and just get the full sidearmor? If it's about compliance, then wait to put the titanium tube on until after Freedom Fighter Tactical comes out with their made in the USA set. There are now so many new ways to do the m4.
  17. Snap ring pliers and no worries.
  18. Thanks for the input. I'm in Orange County, CA, if anyone might be interested. I have the factory box, etc. Kind of hard to justify having two Benellis, even if they're different. Plus, I've been dumping $ in this m4 ....
  19. I have two unfired (at least by me--the factory tests them) Benellis: Supernova Tactical: Ghost rings Pistol grip stock Tac Star extension EGW picatinny rail M4 Urbino stock Carriercomp tube Sidearmor full rail v.2 coming any day Streamlight TLR1s Larue Iron Dot Burris Fastfire Will buy an Aimpoint T1 soon These are the only two shotguns that I have right now. I suppose I don't need the Supernova, as I'm not really into hoarding anything, including guns. What should I expect $-wise if I were to sell the Supernova Tactical? Too little, and I can't imagine it being worth parting with it. Indecisive here--guidance?
  20. Sold--thanks!
  21. It was mounted on my m4, but it's never been fired. Like new condition. Ready to ship. http://www.botachtactical.com/kzm4.html Made in USA. $115 shipped USPS, US only, Paypal only
  22. Seems like Saigas are the biggest target.
  23. Why not just go to Gunsite? No religion, just guns. And I even met Cooper and got a personal tour of the house when he was still kickin'!
  24. That's so awesome. Back to Mossberg ... I've owned one before, but being fond of pistol gripped stocks makes them a non-consideration because of their location of the safety on the top of the receiver. That, and the mall ninja stuff.
