  1. Thanks; yes, it's a solidly constructed piece.
  2. Yes, there's really nothing to fear. I think you run a bigger risk of the m4 getting mucked up sending it out to someone else than DIY.
  3. I just got mine today, ordered from NFA and drop shipped from Benelli. Took over a week b/c of backordered Limbsavers. Looks good, though!
  4. Look on this page: http://www.mesatactical.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=2035#p2035
  5. Mitch from Mesa said the Urbino grip can be swapped out with the stock grip. If that's true, then I see no big issue.
  6. I'm selling mine, too. I figured there would be no harm adding a post here, as Hookster already sold his, I believe, in another thread. Mine's never had anything mounted to the rails other than covers. Haven't ever shot the m4, either, so the KZ's in great condition. $135 shipped in US. Paypal, please!
  7. Woops--that's what I meant to say. I would love to be able to mount a light. I may just buy one and DIY.
  8. Would love one with mounts for optional short rails for optics.
  9. Nice work. What are the rail covers next to the flashlight? They look much less bulky than the ones I have on my KZ Quad Rail.
  10. It weighs about a lb., but made well. Would love something with a rail on the grip with smaller diameter, though.
  11. Does that brake unscrew (like a choke)?
  12. Any pictures of that with a lighter background (so as to see the rear and front sights a little better?
  13. Ya don't say? Actually, this motivated me to buy my 2nd Benelli (have had a Supernova Tactical and now an M4).
  14. There's plenty of info to find using search, though probably not all in one post. Anyway, unless you're married to the Mesa part, you might consider the sidearmor rail (it gives you the shell holder option, but with a spec rail (also an option). The Fab seems to be crap based on the reviews (and it's made in Israel, so you don't gain 922r benefits). Surefire gets mixed reviews. People seem to like the BT, but again, it's not made in the USA. I bought the KZ rail FWIW.
  15. Nice--which vertical fore grip is that? Have you shot with it on?
  16. That's what I just did. Just make sure you buy from an authorized dealer if you plan to take advantage of the rebate--I noticed some on gunsamerica and gunbroker were not.
  17. This happens every time we've been at war in the last 100 years, and then it ebbs back. The problem now, is that our enemy isn't a state actor like it always was, so it's hard to say "we won, they lost" and return to "normal."
  18. Thanks! I'll be sure to post when it's ready.
  19. I ordered the KZ Quad Rail from Botach this week, and am thinking about getting an Aimpoint T1. We all know by now that the Larue mount gets chewed by the M4's stock rail. Is anyone using a Larue with the KZ with good results? Thanks, John
  20. I just bought one on gunbroker for $1515 plus $30 shipping. With the rebate, it's kind of not bad. Almost.
  21. Curious how much you received for it (if you wouldn't mind PMing me). I've had one for 2+ years that I've never fired with a EGW picatinny rail & TacStar extension.
  22. I have a Supernova Tactical (with picatinny rail) that I'm probably going to sell, and getting an M4. Regardless ... I've been searching for a riser or see-through mount that would elevate my red dot sight while still allowing for the use of the ghost rings below. It's such a bummer that we can't co-witness, but this would seem to be an alternative. The only (hideous) example I've seen is this: Anyone aware of something more elegant?
  23. Anyone mount these or similar recoil pads on a Supernova Tactical or others?
  24. I look forward to your limbsaver review.
