  1. Very nice looking parts. When, if ever, do you intend to offer them for sale? Oh, for those looking to just engrave their current pistons after announcing in on here - wow. just wow.
  2. Anyone know, are SOCOMGUY's tubes made with one-piece construction, or is there welding involved? Also, is he still making/selling them?
  3. Do you always give such accolades when you've not yet had an opportunity to personally try out a product? Just curious.
  4. I ordered my FFT Ti knob on the 13th, received it on the 16th. Shot with it yesterday and the piece is hot. Very pleased. Fits exactly as it should, no doubt about the quality. Now if we just had a good rail and a forend that wasn't a gigantic chunk of rails.
  5. I'm gonna order the FFT Ti knob - 3.4 grams difference? Pfft. A nonissue. Whoever pointed out the link to the knob, thanks. FWIW, I've run a heavier steel charging handle for YEARS and not even a glitch. And I shoot a LOT. Thousands and thousands of rounds through my M4. So I'm not worried about it.
  6. Still wrong my friend, as then you would have a trademark issue.
  7. you mean patent territory. copyrights have nothing to do with it.
  8. I agree with everything but the "patients" part. Instead, I'd say you need "patience".
  9. For me, a replacement stock that is shorter. Or a forend for a flashlight that isn't rails on three sides. Any other parts we would like to see for the M4?
  10. I love when people think that pricing dictated by the laws of supply and demand is gouging.
  11. You can order direct from Surefire for about $235 delivered. However, I was at Turner's the other day and they had them in stock for $199. I would have bought one there, but I preordered one from Surefire, which I've received. I was a tad miffed that I saw that Turners had one on display before I received mine from Surefire!
  12. Thats right. Based upon some of the things discussed in my previous thread about shortening my Benelli M4 factory original stock, I thought I'd see if anyone on here desired to sell their orignal stock to me. I figure some people on here either have the collapsable stock or a different stock on their gun, and no longer need their factory original stock. Feel free to PM me with the price you would be willing to take for your stock. I may buy several if the price is right, that way I can experiment. Thanks in advance.
  13. Mike: Got your email. Thanks. Was interested in the tube over the stock. Best of luck with the stock.
  14. I'm interested. PM me. I'm in Irvine. Are you anywhere near?

    M2 vs M4

    I'm holding an M2.

    M2 vs M4

    It was a joke.

    M2 vs M4

M4. This thead can be closed now.
  18. Of course. But right now, I need to solve this other problem.
  19. Any of you had any experience shortening the stock on the M4? Or replacing it with a shorter stock? My M4 is the version that accepts the collapsable, but I'm in California, so I'm interested in other options. Thanks. hb
  20. :pMy bad, d. I wasn't speaking of the spring plug that was hard to remove. I was referring to the ring that holds the forward sling hook in place. I can't get that to budge. I was able to get the spring plug to budge.
  21. I bought a pair of these today at an auto parts store. This damn ring won't budge!
  22. Cool. Thanks for the advice. I thought there was a tool that would let that out, but I didn't want to take my gun to Lowe's and show them what I'm talking about...
  23. This seems like a total noob question, but I want to ask before I go and do what I've been told I can do. When you remove the cap at the end of the tube on the standard tube, there is a plug that the spring backs up to. How do you remove that plug? I've been told that you can simply get a screwdriver and pop it out. Well, it is in there pretty good. I don't want to just get a screwdriver and pop it out, having only been told that by one person. What is the best way to remove that plug?
  24. Surprised you don't like the meprolights. I love mine, and everyone who has shot my gun really likes them.
  25. Just FYI, contrary to popular opinion, Armour All is terrible for rubber and plastic surfaces. Sure, it looks great upon initial application. But over time, the plastic or rubber will become what I consider "addicted" to Armour All. If you don't apply it, the plastic or rubber will look dried out, faded, and will likely crack. I won't put that stuff on anything. I've already ruined two cars with it over my early years. Won't use it anymore, ever.
