  1. How is it wearing down? And how can you tell? Is it patterning different? How many rounds have you shot though it? Isn't there a warranty on the tube?
  2. Your going to take pictures of yourself to prove your not a thief, robber, of otherwise. Wow, I don't think I want to see.
  3. First, welcome to the forum. Everything sounds normal exept the extractor not grabbing the shell. My nova's extract about 1/2 from the rear of the firearm. Try firing with spent hulls or snap caps to get a better look at what is going on.

If you shot someone with a slug, I wouldn't see the point in buying any of thoughs slugs. If a good old fashion 400 grain chunk of lead won't stop someone, I don't think anything will.

    Whoa Nelli!

It's not true unless you post it.

    Whoa Nelli!

You'd be done "engraving" in 5 seconds.
  7. have you cleaned the gun? Have you removed the firing pin and looked at the pin and spring?
  8. Any new gun needs to be cleaned before taken out and shot. The manual makes it easy to figure out.
  9. 30-30 ammo is one thing we have a ton of around here. Not a lot of use for it. Can't use it for anything exept coyotes and plinking.
  10. Quick your crying. Whats a little rain. Your not sweet enough to melt. Its snowing here. Had the Benelli out today. Wait, whats that smell. I'm starting to smell safe queen.
  11. Quit playing on the computer. Don't you have a new 30-30 to shoot. I NEED a range report.
  12. Ex soldier or not you should able to hang the flag if you an American. Truely dumb.
  13. You have a smoothbore barrel. All 12 gauge shell you can use in the nova. Some shell will not pattern or group as good as others. You will have to hit the patterning board and range to see which shells fit you nova the best. Congrats on your purchase. You've bought a great firearm.
  14. So are you going to shoot it? See what these safe queen guy don't is that if you have a gun that's 1 of 500 and you don't shoot it, it's 1 of 500. If you shoot a limited gun then it become more rare. Maybe only 1 of 10. Shoot it! Whatever you do, don't listen to the voice of 1014. He will draw you in. Then instead of shooting your guns, you will be just wiping them down.
  15. Got to love thoughs lever guns. Great peace.
  16. Were they still fighting after he shot her? Fight was over right? I still wouldn't want to be infront of any shotgun regardless of what it was loaded with.
  17. Nevermind I reread your post. You cleaned twice. Did you put the right pin back in the right hole. There is 2 pins and even though each go into each others holes, they shouldn't be interchanges. Did you have this problem the first to times you cleaned it?
  18. Is this the first time you've taken the gun apart? Or is this a first time cleaning.
  19. Hope your not counting the one on the right? It looks like it was already a floater.
  20. What did you use when you tried to get the pin out?
  21. Benelli told you wrong. The flap will stay up when you load a shell in the mag tube. When you cycle the action the flap goes down. It has nothing to do with firing the shotgun.
  22. Nova stock just don't break. I've never heard such a thing. Do you have picture of this stock? May we see it? It sounds like you force it to do something it wasn't supose to do. I have 3 nova's and there tanks. Others on here and other forums will agree. O well,Good luck with your Remington rust bucket.
  23. How do you chamber the round after you load 2 in the mag. tube? There is 2 ways to load the Nova: 1. Load 2 rounds into the mag. tube.(bolt closed) Cycle the action and bring one round into the chamber. 2. Open action. put one round into the chamber. Close bolt. Put remaining shells in mag. tube. If your doing it both ways and it doesn't work, it sounds like a the shell elevator problem. Try Bolt closed. Load 1 round into the mag. tube. Elevator stays up right? Now, Cycle the action.(load the round into the chamber. Elevator is down now right? If not, there is your problem. If its not the elevator, it might be the shell stop. But I'm thinking no.
  24. Buying a rifled slug barrel will cost you almost as much as a new gun.
