Please don't say that again on this Forum.

I just saw the video. Yes, he did have his hand up. Why he had his head down when they prayed is another question.
-
This was during the pledge on Veterans day.
-
There is worse. Having a small spear and not knowing how to use it.
-
Unlike guns, it's not the size of the spear, it's how you use it

I can help with the 1 oz loads. Benelli auto shotgun are not made to cycle 1 oz loads. Many people say there's will. Factory says 3 dram 1 1/8 are required to cycle correctly. Also, did your friend break the gun in with 100 rounds of "heavy" loads? It says to do so in the manual.

This is why I only hunt with a spear.
-
That's what I was thinking

I think I straight trade would be a bit unfair.

Looked at one the other day. Feels very nice. Very light weight and swings real nice. It doesn't look as bad as the pictures. Maybe one day I'll get one.

SBE II or SuperNova for dedicated turkey gun?
Novaking replied to quickbiscuit's topic in Turkey Hunting
yep. your right -
I second the Taurus. Seems pretty well built. Warranty.. well sucks. I hear you have a 50-50 chance. I would go with springfield.

Skeet2 is less than IC. I would try a different IC choke or a different ammo or both.

SBE II or SuperNova for dedicated turkey gun?

I would think it would be the same as double tapping a rabbit. Something I've done before. Sure you can miss. Like I said, everyone has there own flavor. -
SBE II or SuperNova for dedicated turkey gun?

For a turkey gun only, I couldn't spend1500.+ dollars. Supernova+camo+steadygrip+reddot+turkey choke+hunting tag(for 20 years)+camo gear+decoys+turkey vest+turkey calls+turkey blind+lunch for the weekend+gas+turkey mount+hunting knife+ammo= less than a SBEII. Turkey hunting is 10%time in the field, 10% skill, 80% luck. Big expensive guns have nothing to do with it. My father-in-law as kill turkeys with a single shot 12 gauge 30 inch barrel w/ fixed full choke and no rib. Paid 115.00 bucks for it 10 years ago. He did spend 6 bucks on spray paint and made it look camo. Not knocking it, just my flavor. -
Again, its not paint and all camo guns are that way. Not just Benelli. I won't buy anymore camo guns for that reason.
-
Mine will move the bolt back enough to eject the shell. Its about 1 1/2 inches, right before the point that it brings the new shell up.
-
Thoughs older wingmasters are slick. You sure have 2 great guns.
-
Twist counterclock wise
-
Normal. After your Nova is broken-in it will eject 3 1/2 shells if you don't hold the action forward. Congrats, you have bought a tank.

Went out on Saturday with the new pup. She did very well. Flushed a hen. O well. Try again on Thursday.
-
Most likely, but arn't you sending it anyways?

Turkey barrels are shorter, most of the time in camo, and the gun or barrel is drilled and tapped for a scope. Other than that, nothing.
