I would say the difference is 1/2#, but Kip will let us know for sure I hope.

Bottom tube is a 2-position. I guess the top one is the same tube from another angle? I think the assy. would come with the "plunger", spring, snap-ring, and screw?
-
I will pass on this one. It would take a lot of paperwork. I would need to hurry up and change a lot of personal ID stuff I don't want to mess with right now. I was hoping that an SBS wasn't such a pain to obtain legally, but it is apparently

All M4 stocks are straight.
-
+1, sadly. These parts, as far as I know, are not imported.

...The difference in weight between the civilian non-collapsible Benelli M4 PG stock and the collapsible stock w/pistol grip... My guess is 7-9oz.
-
I know this is a crappy way to do it, but I held the collapsible in my hand and stood on my scale, and then held the regular PG in my hand. THe scale was consistantly .5-.70# difference in weight. Keep in mind, that metal detent and pin in the collapsible is a lot smaller than the screws and large scew/sling loop in the regular PG stock. More metal in the regular one. *note, the PG itself on the collapsible was not included in this weight comparison. SO true difference I estimate at 7-9oz. That is my bet. I wonder what Kip says? I know he knows, lol. People like Kip know those things.

Arggg I want to know. I know the stock M4's weight b/c it's on Benelli's site. I know that I lose about 1/2# from the full-length Ti tube, and I want to know how much I shaved by getting a collapsible stock. Curious what my leaned up M4 weighs, lol
-
Can you also weigh a collapsible stock/PG and compare it to the fixed PG's weight?

Meh, I can do a fast mag dump. Center-mass with buckshot. Totally sick. Lots of holes, I calculated something like the equivalent of a 25"+ hole if all pellets hit and none "double-up", which I am sure they will, but still! Hitting someone COM will at least hamper their movement until I am done with the mag (impact is equal to recoil if all energy is "dumped", which with buckshot it's somewhat close. SO it will be a decent shove, even if it isn't a movie-esque LAUNCH!, lol), and that's a LOT! of damage, and I am sure at least 1 pellet would hit the CNS/spine.

I agree with all points made, but the justice system is just a payed service. Got the cash or connection? You get the verdict, 9x out of 10. Maybe I am biased, but I can back it up with landmark case after case.

Meh, I WANT! If I could get this transferred over in a reasonable amount of time, I would be interested. In fact, I am very interested. I need to research what it would take to legally take possession. PM Sent. ETA: I wonder if I could cross state lines with it, etc. I dunno. This may be a bit prohobitive for me. I posted a thread on ARF.com.

How long would a transfer take, and how much would it cost, and how much $$ would you want for the barrel/reciever?
-
How hard is a form 1 to get approved? How long does it take? Could you sell both items togather without removing them from registry (to an owner in a state where a configuration as such is legal), and if-so, would the buyer need forms? Sorry, not up on my Forms, etc.

I wouldn't claim that yet man, look at the chin/neck. The face was cut out of this picture... I AM FINALLY AWARE! of a man prosecuted--and convicted--with the basis of such, his use of a 10mm handgun (instead of a 9mm or "lesser caliber") as a large nail in the coffin of his trial. HE warned his assailant (who approached him yelling, screaming, and moving his hands in a threatening manner while he was out hiking) verbally. Warned him he had a firearm. When the man finally closed in to a few yards, still screaming obscenities ("Im going to f*cking kill you") and waving his arms in a threatening manner, the man fired several rounds rapidly, striking the assailang in the torso region fatally. THe man administered first-aid and called 911 immediately and requested medical help for his attacker--who had a prior history of violence and mental illness. The shooter was prosecuted successfully for manslaughter. Pure ********. But it happened. A major part of the prosecutors argument was his use of a 10mm handgun loaded with hollowpoint ammunition, "which was intended to kill the assailant". The man argued that he did what was necessary to stop the assailant--the prosecution argued his use of the 10mm and hollowpoints along with firing more than once indicated premeditation. Prosecution was successful.

I don't think you can remove it once it is added, or is that only for MG's? Damn you. I want that! ARgggggg!!! WHy is everyone selling the cool stuff RIGHT AFTER I buy my M4S90. Theoretically...if I bought it from you, would I need to file a $200 tax-stamp and paperwork, or is this barrel/reciever transferrable?

Haha, I laugh at people when they find something racist that is not meant to be. I find it supremely funny.

Holy crap. I missed something. I MISSED SOMETHING!!!! For the record, I'm straight and I still strongly dislike 90% of the women out there. (notice not hate, hate is a bit strong). *edit* Nope, I didn't. Wen't back and saw the .img. Wow, I expected graphics. Pretty mild I think, personally.

Definitely, Thanks! and in a couple of months, a T1 sitting in a LaRue. I love the Collapsible stock. It is built to be mess-up-proof. VERY sturdy design.

Reading page one would have helped, eh? I mean, I understand skipping the fluff in the middle, but you didn't even look at page one before asking, lol.

Fired my M4 with the collapsible stock for the first time today. Tested Remington OOO 2.75" buck and Winchester Hollowpoint 1oz 1600fps generic slugs. at 25 yards, 4-5 of the 8 buckshot pellets would hit VERY close togather, with the remainder being 6-12" away. By very close, I mean palm of your hand. One 25 yard target actually resulted in 4 OOO pellets putting ONE RAGGED HOLE in the target. THis "cluster" was always dead-center pretty much, with the outliers in no particular place. At 50 yards 3-4 pellets (probably these center ones) would end up in a 8x8" area. At 100 ayrds, 4-shots resulted in 1 pellet on-target. I did hold 1.5' high, I don't know if this helped or hurt. THe slugs were the most accurate I have tested. Sighting in required moving 25 clicks to the left from mechanical dead-center. This is approximately 3.6" at 100 yards. NOT BAD for something that has a removable barrel and removable INSERT in that barrel. This was also the Alpha testing of my Briley MOD choke. I like it. Very well machined to require such a small shift from mechanical zero. Slugs grouped excellent. about 4" groups offhand while standing (not counting a couple that I knew I pulled, remember, a shotgun recoils roughly 1/2" while the slug is STILL IN THE BORE! This means you flinch...it shows up!) at 50 yards. At 25 yards, I could kill small bugs like a sledge hammer, could I see them that far away. I blotted out the bulls-eye. Thus supporting my statement, Remington Sluggers like a looser (IC) choke, and the Winchester stuff likes a little more constriction (M). The stock really rattled the **** out of me the first 2 shots, then I realised it was b/c it was on the middle notch and I was CRAMMING my cheek bone into it to get a good sight picture. (The middle notch really is for body armor or an optic without body armor). I moved it to the far back notch, and it felt identical to my fixed stock in every aspect but balance, and Kip's titanium tube should arrive soon and balance the weapon out again. All in all, I am pleased. When Kip's rail and the funding arrives, I will purchase a T1 Micro or a Trijicon RMR. Leaning towards the T1/LaRue mount. This thing will be absurd 0-100 yards with that setup. *Of note, EVERY CHOKE I have fired has required a different amount of windage to be zeroed. If you change chokes...check your zero. Removing/replacing the barrel and/or same choke has no effect on zero in my testing.

near single-digit body-fat % makes ya look bigger than you really are. Yes, I agree with all of the above, except I really like the Vipers, and the driveline is damn near bulletproof.
