Difference between benelli,stoeger,franchi semiauto actions
Unobtanium replied to awesome's topic in Benelli
What type of shotgun do you want to buy? -
Can this choke be purchased in MOD constriction? Or just IC only? How does this extended IC choke do with buckshot compared to the OEM MOD choke? Have you patterned it?
-
What bolt-release is that?
-
Is the material the same as Benelli uses? What choke-tubes are used for these?
-
I have owned a Kick's choke, which is the same thing pretty much, and I couldn't tell a difference. Why are you shooting a .300 without ears?
-
The rail will fit perfect. It will mount using my stock screws/lock washers It will be compatible with LaRue mounts. It will be priced fairly. It will be of equal or superior material quality when compared to the OEM rail. Kip will produce it, and thus attatch his reputation to its performance. This is fact. This is plenty enough. I will buy when available.

Yep, later model 11707 with 3-pos recoil tube.

Look on the forum. It is mentioned in numerous threads that I forgot the links to. It will be ready when the rails are.
-
I run mod. It patterns large buck well (80-100% on a 14x14" target at 25 yards), and shoots slugs into 3-4" groups at 50 yards with ease. Good enough for anything I need.
-
I would hold out for Kip's. It is an OEM copy basically. Swarfworks does not look OEM.

Run some Remington 3" OOO Buck with the factory MOD choke and at 50m I think you will be impressed. However, 50M really is slug territory. The recoil of the #4 buck 3" remington round is STOUT! This, coupled with an under-sized (the M1S90 had a 37" or so mag-tube spring for It's 7-shot tube...) mag spring, the inertia of recoil and the weight of the last round in the mag-tube causes hang-ups. My last M4 (and this one) handle 3" magnum rounds just fine. You will have a bit more carbon under the handguards, and of course more wear/tear, but nothing untoward. It was made to take it and I would run them without pause if you have the desire. These don't require much lube, although I love lubing the **** out of my weapons. My bet is that you limp-wristed the shotgun slightly or weren't leaning into it and the #8 you picked is possibly one of the lower dram rounds out there. Remove your stock. If you see 4 notches on the left side of the tube, it is a newer 11707 (the second to last notch is only used for INSTALLATION of the col. stock, not adjustment, but you know this). All M4's ghost load as far as I am aware.

WOW! Benelli wasn't BS-ing. They do use the same spring apparently. We wanted to know if there was a mythical 33" factory spring. If you can get it, try firing 3" 41 pellet #4 buckshot from Remington. Let us know if it jams, lol. If it does, talk to Kip about his spring.

Am I the only one that thinks on such a short piece of rail, the T markings are unimportant? Sorry if I get totally shot down on my opinion, but I would not feel at any loss if the rail did not have them. On such a short piece of rail, you know if your optic is a bit fore or aft of it's position last time. Just about as easily as remembering "the foot goes between "X" and "X".
-
Please do me a HUGE favor. Remove the spring from the magazine tube and measure it. I want to know what Benelli puts in the full-length tube FROM THE FACTORY. This would please me much!
-
There is no optic as of yet that will co with the stock irons UNLESS: Take an M4 rail, have it milled/machiend to accept a JPoint. THAT MIGHT! work.
-
I highly doubt the poster will be successful in their attempt. I gave up.

Yep! The manual etc. says not to lube these things too much, but I DROWN mine in LaRue MG lube and the first outing shot STS target loads and had narry a hangup. Run it wet and they seem to do well with light loads. Heck, I run mine wet and have let it get kidna dry (never DRY, as you always want some lube on wear-points) and it still ran great. I just like to run it like I ran my AR's, lol. Do you already have a full-length tube? I see you have a collapsible stock alredy. If you don't have the tube yet, buy one from Kip here on the forum. Titanium. Shaves 1/2# of weight off vs. the factory spacer/tube.
-
1. It's a design feature and not a problem. 2. Don't baby it, rip it back and let it fly. Go shoot it btw. 3. Yes, you can shoot slugs all the way through full, but MOD and "looser" is more accurate in my experience. I use a Briley MOD choke for my slug shooting, and winchester cheapy HP 1600fps slugs give me 3-4" standing, offhand groups at 50 yards.
-
Kip, any chance you could weigh an M4 with your Ti tube/spring/factory everything else and tell us what it weighs (and which stock is on it)? I know I COULD just subtract the weight difference of your Ti tube from the factory weight, but I would trust your #'s over the factory weight, which who knows what hardware was on it when it was determined. I am curious what it weighs with your Ti tube. Total weight of the weapon (empty).

You have a victim mentality. Maybe he wants to BE the rapist? Ever think of that. Think like a predator. Not a sheep. He would have unlimited victims. Almost no legal repercussions. Perfect predator environment.

Put down the Jergins and step away from the computer...

Here is my order: Invoice ID: 0000001312 Order Date: Sat, Apr 25, 2009 19:34:18 YAY! I am covered! *How's the rail coming ?* PS> I am very impressed with your operation Kip. You quoted a wait-time of 4-6 weeks. You have delivered on schedual. Such a RARE! occurance now days. +1 on accurate ETA's, good communication with your customers, and a high-quality product that wasn't rushed to hit a deadline but rather made the deadline set by virtue of quality production proceedures and proper work ethic.

Well at least...now we know! Thanks Kip! I saw I was billed the other day for my Ti tube. When should it ship? (10-14 days like your site says, or maybe sooner? )
-
Well, I'm not sure if it's definitive. We need to ask TokenWhiteMale about that one...
